Get your ish together WWE
« on: August 23, 2015, 10:05:31 PM »
I feel like I'm making this thread EVERY PPV of theirs now.  Your network and it's apps are almost two years old now.  So how come all of it still doesn't run right?  I go to start SummerSlam at about 10 minutes after the show started on your app on my TV and I choose watch from beginning and you put me at the start of the fucking kick-off show?  Double-check and yes I've chosen the right video file.  In fact on the TV app there isn't even a video option FOR the kick-off show like on the comp.  Go to the comp.  Can't rewind.  Just tried again on comp now a few hours later and can't fully rewind to the start.  Load app on 360, choose SummerSlam video, choose watch from beginning and it DOES...except every 5 seconds the video either freezes or jumps forward a few seconds like it always has....

I don't understand this.  These issues shouldn't be a damn problem still this late into your network's life.  Want an easy solution?  Stop trying to use your own in house software and just fucking shell out the money to YouTube or Netflix to run this shit for you already.  I'm getting tired of having to wait till the day after to be able to watch this shit because I'm not around to watch from the beginning due to work and your shitty software.

Jesus, what kind of chimps are they employing to handle the network.  You're right, they should have ironed out all the bugs by now.  Youtube, Amazon, Hulu, or Netflix sure doesn't have these problems.

Oh and just realized that choosing Watch from the Beginning on the 360 file actually puts me at 1:00:00 into the show...meaning they have the kick-off show as part of that file too but that app at least puts you at the start of the PPV portion of the video file...

I cannot speak for apps because I rarely use them. I usually watch live on my computer, and have had few problems. But that's just me.

I watched on my PS3 last night and it was pretty solid, but when I initially fired it up and was watching in real time it was a touch jittery.  I backed it up so I could see Reigns/Ambrose vs Wyatts and it was almost flawless.  In general, I've had far better luck with my Roku.

NXT Takeover: Brooklyn streamed flawlessly from my PS3 for the entire show though the night before and I was watching that live.

Roku user here. I was an hour behind. Hit watch from beginning and it started right where it was supposed to, at the opening signature. No problems for 4 hours.

See that's the thing that frustrates me.  Every platform seems to operate differently.  They should but only in how the app itself looks/works on that platform.  They should all be pulling from the same files and stream from the same server and it seems they aren't.  Again, sloppy.

iOS devices have actually been the best in my experience with Roku just a step behind.

I agree with your point, but I haven't had nearly as much of an issue as many others apparently.

I was about an hour behind, streaming on my Blu-Ray.  No problems at all.  Buffered twice but I assume that has more to do with my awful local rural ISP.

I watched both NXT: Takeover and Summerslam on my Xbox One with not one pixel of lag.

Disclaimer: I watched both shows live from start to end with no pausing or rewinding.

Disclaimer 2: The X1 app was absolute shit and didn't even work until a couple months ago. I used to have to watch on my 360.
