Into the Badlands

Not sure what to make of this yet.

Seems like a mish mash of Game of Thrones, Road Warrior, and kung fu flicks.  With a liberal dose of gore.

I like it. They have been moving the story forwards slowly for the first few episodes but now it looks as if business is going to pick up. The fighting/gore is awesome.

New season started last night.

Kind of hard to say anything without spoilers, but it started off strong and ended on a twist (The twist being they didn't play it out a few more episodes before the reveal, because we all saw this coming.  You'll know what I mean when you see it.  ;) )

I watched the first season (6 episodes) on netflix and thought it was very good. Looking forward to seeing newer episodes soon!

Latest season is VERY good so far.

I love the wheelchair guy.  Is he playing Widow?  Can a guy who was baron ever be loyal to anyone but himself?

Either way, he's great.  Horray for cripple villains.  :)

Well, that was certainly eventful.
The Widow essentially cemented as the "good Baron".  Quinn exits the shadows and makes his presence felt.  Ryder (surprisingly) gets killed off.  Veil has a botched escape attempt.
I see a lot of reviewers hate Quinn, and seem to prefer Widow.  Me, I say bring them both.

Sunny wasn't in this episode, and tbh I didn't miss him a bit.  Lets be honest, he's the dullest character on the show, and good for only one thing (His work rate.)

My wife keeps saying that the commercials look far more interesting now than before. We may try to binge this one.

You won't be disappointed.

You wife will probably like "The Widow" and her "butterfly's" (Her pet term for "Clippers", which are basically glorified assassins.)
