I have it on the Wii and play online. This is the first game I've really played online, now I'm addicted. I'm terrible, but I'm addicted. Don't hate on the Wii version, it's pretty tits. Not nearly as pretty as the 360's, but very functional and very well done.

I got the PS3 version and I'm VERY close to taking it back, getting the 360 version instead and signing up for one year on Xbox Live. It took the PSN at least three or four times before it downloaded a freakin' update. That's highly unusual even for PSN. When it got going online, I was reset back to the lobby area several times and it had to 'reconfigure the host' during one match. Anyone else having those problems on 360 or PS3?

That's me up in the tower, getting killed by a tomahawk.

They pushed through an update yesterday I think (if that is not the one you were talking about).  They are definitely working on it from everything that I read.

Could barely get into a game today, and when I did I got the "disconnected" error and booted.  Once I got things running, my PS3 froze....FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Geez, Black Ops on PS3 is worse than MW2 on PS3. *sigh* I should just sign up for XBL and trade in my copy for the 360 version.

Yeah, the PS3 and PSN rules over XBOX, apparently.  8)

Finally got a chance to play it this weekend, my buddy brought his copy over. No ACR makes me :( but I'm sure I'll find a new favorite weapon.

I'm totally loving the Training mode against the bots.

While the AI isn't near as smart as human players are, the bots are damned fast AND accurate, so if they spot you, you're in trouble. When you start dominating at one difficulty, you just turn it up and make it harder and you're forced to improve.

It also gives you a chance to test new load outs and equipment without getting raped by a 12 year old.

One thing I decided I don't like about this game is the spawning system in multiplayer. In MW2, once you died, you respawned somewhere away from the enemy. You might be unfortunate enough to have a guy running into the area where you spawned and die moments later, but in Black Ops, you can spawn literally right in front of an enemy. There's been more than a few occasions where I've been shot, and then spawned right in front of an opponent, and I get blasted inside of a second.

I've noticed that a lot when playing on Nuketown.  That map is so small that there's really nowhere you can spawn safely if the other team is spread out on both ends.

Something that frustrates me is that I'm one shared care package away from Hardline Pro, but every time I call one in my team runs away from it.  PICK UP THE FUCKING PACKAGE!   >:(

Yeah, it's hard on Nuketown, since that map is so small, but all the other maps are big enough to not have the spawning problem.

Got a headset? Make sure you yell at your teammates to pick up that package. Up until now, it's been sacrilege to steal someone's care package, so this sharing stuff is new now, and people are still antsy about it. I know I'm protective as hell about my care packages - I want to rack up the kills! :)

Picked up my copy last night, but won't have it until Xmas. The in laws planned to get it for me but we got one traded in at work and I couldn't pass up saving them $20. With my discount I get a used copy for $44.50 and they would have paid $63.90 new.

Last night I stumbled across a good combination for killing:  AK-47 with iron sights, extended mag, scavenger and sleight of hand.  I absolutely RAPED everyone and pulled off my best round ever, 36-13.

The AK-47 seems to hit harder and have less recoil with the iron sights for some reason (versus red dot).
