I don't recall it making me cry; but the Yul Brynner anti-smoking spot that he shot when he was battling cancer to be aired after he died was absolutely chilling.

yeah I think so. I remember the urge to pick up and call my sister more then the actual commercial - probably because it's not an urge I feel that often

Those antismoking commercials don't make me want to cry personally, but they nail it. The follow up commercials they have every time 1 of the people die does too. The commercials are a breath of fresh air to people like me because the commercials have always been counterproductive.
