Been reading the Marv Wolfman/George Perez era.

If DC wanted to compete with Xmen movies, there you go.  How could they just sit on one their most iconic runs, featuring the fanboy bait villain Slade Wilson "Deathstroke"? 

I mean, sex, violence, teen angst, drama, badasses..  Pretty much a made for hollywood big screen series.

If you remember during that time period, their sales were on par with the Xmen. Don't know what happened after that.


Hell, their original Teen Titans, Go! Series was tremendous, and so was Young Justice, but yet DC decided they weren't worth running long term so they ended it, only to bring it back in a less serious manner.
