NXT Takeover: The End

Really solid show last night and the crowd was on point unless you think their "Who are you?!" chant was directed at "Precious" Paul Ellering.

It might have been. That young of a crowd may not remember. Paul didn't have his trademarks either. Sunglasses, paper in his hand.... oh, and the Road Warriors.

I loved it from start to finish. I was hoping Nakamura/Aries would un-seat Nakamura/Zayn as my leading contender for MOTY, but it didn't quite get there. I had a feeling about The Revival, but it wasn't because of a pending call up for American Alpha. I just felt the story was better told with The Revival. I'm really digging them at this point.

That crowd presents itself as a "smart" crowd though and I think that's why it griped people so much.

Very good show as always, Nia Jax looked pretty solid. She is definitely improving, although you just fear that if she gets called up, Vince will make the announcers talk about how unattractive she is the whole time.

Hopefully, this is the end for Finn and he gets to join The Club now, or just do his own thing for a bit. He would get over huge as a face on his own, so maybe The Club would hurt him if that were his debut.

Maybe they would try to make Nia be what Kharma wasn't. Doesn't hurt that she's related to The Rock either.

I figured they were chanting that at those Matanza Twins tag team.

What irked me was the dueling chant during the Womens match. Really? You're chanting for Nia Jax? Or are you just arrogant marks who got to have your dueling chant for evey match?

But great show overall. American Alpha may be the best babyface tag team on the planet right now.

I thought they were chanting at the tag team and not Paul Ellering as well.

I finally got to see this.

It's about time the main stole the show.
Jax went from extremely huge to being almost a plus sized model. She definitely didn't gas out.  We need some more monsters like her.

I wanted more strong style. Did I miss the rolling arm bar?

I'm trying to imagine what Nakamura's entrance is going to be like at Mania.

It might take him longer than Undertaker to get to the ring, with all his "dancing" and gyrations he does on the way. Especially if it's a long ramp at a large stadium.
