Jericho Podcast RE: Benoit Anniversary
« on: June 27, 2016, 04:13:16 PM »
I haven't listened to it yet (but I will), but Jericho recorded a podcast with Nancy Benoit's sister in January, and just put it out there in the past week for the 9th anniversary of Benoit's death. What I *AM* listening to is the Wrestling Observer show from today where Meltzer and Alvarez start off discussing the Jericho podcast but then Meltzer goes into some extended memories and anecdotes of Benoit and the whole murder/suicide, and it's riveting. It might be subscriber-only, but it's worth seeking out.

Jericho interviewed Chavo Jr. in one of his earlier episodes. They did talk about Eddie and Benoit, so that may be worth checking out. Also JR interviewed Kevin Sullivan and spent a good amount of time talking Benoit.

I'll check them both out. The JR/Sullivan one is probably fascinating.

Every forum I visit really liked it but I thought it was predictable and typical of what any sister in that situation would say from the sister of a Benoit down to the sister of a Joe if you get my drift.
