Anyone getting this?  I can't tell if it is going to be epic or a total snoozefest

I may but by the time I'll play it, it'll be 2020. So I'll wait until it's a Black Friday deal. From what I can tell, it's looks supremely boring based on streams I've seen of it.

Of course, Hello Games are resetting the servers once the game is released so any pre-release progress will be lost.

Besides, Resident Evil 4 is coming to PS4 at the end of the month.

Got it.  Seems more like an experience than a game.  There's a LOT to it, and they don't explain SHIT.  I'm hoping once I get the hang of it I can keep up my interest.  Right now I've run into massive inventory issues, but I hear that gets taken care of pretty quick once you upgrade stuff.

They lost something like 90% of their player base.

Really interesting concept, but a lot of broken promises turned a lot of people off.

This sounds like it's meant as an evolution of Elite 2:  Frontier back in the day, which was a similar concept of flying around a fully realized universe of neutonian physics, planets that orbited suns and that you can interact with/land on, accept random missions ect..   In practice, it sounds like a step back (You can approach suns and mine them for gas in E2, and here you can't really even orbit one..)
