Legitimately considered one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, certainly during the pioneer days. Defeated George Hackenschmidt for the World Heavyweight Wrestling Championship in 1908, and held the title for five straight years. Retired as the champion in 1913. W-L Record said to be 154-6

Has held a laundry list of independent titles over a 20 year career. Held the ECW Title in the original promotions final year's. Credited as a pioneer of TNA's X-Division. Held the WWF Light Heavyweight Title for one month. Longtime rival of Rob Van Dam.
