saw that today. the packaging is awesome.

what's up with that face sculpt tho? kinda weird looking. the MS one is better. Not sure if i'll get this as i'm trying to save money for other things.

on third glance, his face reminds me more of the robo-thor.

yeah, that's why i don't know if i can afford to get him. i mean, yeah, he's got really cool packaging, but not $14 worth (IM2 6" figs sell for $10.99 on hasbrotoyshop.com).

I'm tempted to get him, since I won't get the SDCC Lion-O. The figure is kind of crap for $40.00 and the retail one looks better.

Then they announced Bizarro/Faker, so I nixed Killowog. Then Lion-O, but I saw him next to He-Man and they look pretty silly next to each other.

isn't the sdcc lion-o same as retail? i thought the only difference was a stand or something.

but yeah, i'm passing on the thundercats classics. they look cheap and not worth $16.99. i'm hoping they shelf/peg warm and then go on major clearance.

i don't think i've seen the sdcc one. the one i've seen (lion-o and tigra) are made of shiny plastic. typical bandai.

Swamp Thing came in today. The rubber skin is an interesting experiment, but it would have better for a solid sculpt with articulation. The sculpt looks incredible and the rubber skin kind of makes him "alive" since he smells and is somewhat fleshy.

He's huge, which most people have a problem with, but I love. He's an elemental beast, basically a nature god that can do anything with his physical form.

The box and packaging is pretty epic and memorable.
