The Shield started during my not paying attention time and even though I saw them when I went to the WM at Met Life I have no recollection.


I was excited to see the reunion probably selfishly because I want Roman Reigns to go over and I knew this would lead to him getting cheered (so sue me).  My daughter, however, was over the moon.  When we met RR before Summer Slam the only thing she asked him was if the Shield was getting together.  His answer was "keep watching..you never know what's going to happen and then he winked at her".  She feels like they reunited because she suggested it..lol.


I would have felt better if they came from the audience and were dressed appropriately (even though they now have shirts as we saw the second time they came out).  I don't know their theme song but I suspect it's the same one RR comes out to every week.  Correct me if I am wrong.  Also I wish it was more of a surprise..they gave it away at the end of last week's RAW.


I did love them ganging up on Braun because hell he beat the crap out of RR all damn summer long...so there!!!


Sheepishly this was not really my thoughts on RAW since that was all I saw.  Do you expect me to watch Wrestling when my Yankees are fighting for their playoff lives?  Ha ha... I was bringing them to a win!  My daughter gave me the heads up on when RR was on by yelling "mommy mommy..cute guy...hurry".  LOL


Feel free to post your thoughts on RAW.  Oh btw I can't believe the cruiser weights closed the show for the 3rd week in a row and Enzo lost the title.  He's annoying but did breathe some life into the little guys.

They have really gotten away from the element of true surprise. Everything is telegraphed so easily. It does take away from the enjoyment just a smidge.

• I liked the promo between Mickie James and Alexa Bliss... it's a fait accompli that Bliss will retain at TLC, but this segment made me want to see Mickie win her 7th Women's Championship.
• Kind of obvious that Emma would win the opportunity to face Asuka at TLC (they have a good match history from NXT; and can work a good convincing match), but in storyline within RAW's world, it makes no sense in a stop-start sense of Emma's push. You could say she will give Asuka competition (if they parallel the NXT Takeover: London match), or they could completely have Asuka kill Emma outright.
• Enzo loses the title on RAW, but I bet the match still happens at TLC and I wouldn't be surprised if Enzo wins it back. They have recent history of this with Neville and Tozawa. Enzo should stay a heel... but next year will be interesting when Big Cass comes back from his injury.
• I like The Shield getting Roman over ... this was part of his aura before all the "Chosen One" crap they handcuffed him with. His peak of full on support from the crowds was the Royal Rumble his lost to Batista.
• Miz is still awesome.
• Everything else to RAW was a fast-forward induced blur.

I did notice a big difference in Roman when he was with the Shield.  I like the new forceful RR!!


I am a big fan of Alexa Bliss but it would be cool if Mickie James took the title.  I thought Emma was in the match to be the one to take the fall for Asuka  I'm not aware they have a past.


One more thing on TLC.  I listen to Busted Open Radio on Sirius on my way home from work and today Bubba Dudley (who is a host) said that TLC needs to mean something.  There needs to be something hanging from the rafters for the wrestlers to want to get.  They were bandying about the tag belts and the Miz belt.  That would be interesting.

This is part of WWE's problem. They didn't really acknowledge the past between Natayla and Charlotte before their match at HIAC either.
I hope they play on the Emma/Asuka match from Dec 2015, because it nearly stole the show.
