AJ and Shinsuke didn't steal the show. I'm let down .

Wow, that ended on a weird note.  I didn't feel like this WM was as special as the others.

Wow.

1) Asuka losing was a shock but I can understand it. She lost to a big name and undefeated streaks can kill wrestlers heat if they go on for too long. Just look at Goldberg.

2) Crowd was very tired by the time AJ/Shinsuke came around. It was good but not the classic we wanted. Looking forward to heel Shinsuke.

3) Some kid was a great partner choice.

4) Bliss/Jax was very good, I love everything Bliss does.

5) Rousey looked really good in her match, she had a full range of maneuvers and selling of that devastating 41 year old Mother of 3 offense that Stephanie threw at her.

6) Fuck that Cena/UT shit. If UT can't go anymore, they should just let him retire. The man has nothing to prove and only looks bad by this shit. Complete waste of time by everyone.

7) LOLREIGNSLOSES This was shocking. It was ridiculous that he kicked out of 94 F5s and it's good to see Brock bust someone open hard way without murdering their brain stem, but I don't get it. Leads to a Corporate Roman heel turn tomorrow night? No idea, but hopefully this finally ends the Face Roman era and ushers in something new.

3 of the first 4 Matches delivered with the Rousey match being an all time Mania moment.

At this point, I am thinking we could be getting one of the great Manias.  Unfortunately, rest of the show was okay and the crowd seemed to burn out.

The main event could have been good if the crowd gave it a chance. Does Brock lose the title tomorrow on Raw?

Never would have guessed the post match of Styles/Nakamura would outshine the match. The rematch should be a lot better with a more defined heel.

Enjoyed Bliss/Nia a lot.  Glad they did not squash Bliss.

The main event had no chance because no one wanted to see Roman win and they booked it where that was the only outcome. Obviously, that wasn't the case but they have to blame themselves for it.

Very disappointed in the Smackdown tag match too, it was basically a squash when it should have been a fun car crash.

Short takes:

- The real shockers were AJ, Charlotte, and Brock retaining. Did not predict those outcomes at all.
- Is Nakamura going to be cheered still as a heel? This may have been a forced "Wrestlemania moment".
- Rousey looked good. The whole match was booked well, and it came across as fun. Loved it.
- AJ/Nakamura fell short. Hopefully they're saving something for the rematch.
- Usos/New Day/Bludgeon Bros match was meh.
- Roman beats Brock tonight on RAW?
- Charlotte/Asuka was probably my match of the night.
- Strowman made a kids' dream come true. Loved they did that. Real neat moment. I was almost thinking they'd have Braun pretty much smash whoever and then have the kid make the pin.

Apparently the kid was the son of a WWE referee...

If I am a roster member on the show, I am pissed if that kid belongs to anyone on staff.  It would be cool if that was a make-a-wish moment but they crapped on a lot of people and the tag team division for that moment.

I hated that segment before, and I hate it even more now. I get those who say it was "fun", but not for me.

Did Nicholas' dad ref the match?

I hope Braun and Nicholas are entered in the next tag team Slugfest of Doom.

I thought the whole thing was meant to be a rib on Neville.

Drake being the ref for the Rousey match was one of my favorite moments.  Drake must have been thrilled for that opportunity.

Brock has re-signed with wwe. What was the point of this Roman experiment, which failed.

This may only be for a couple more appearances though, until the Greatest Royal Rumble ever where he's supposed to drop the title to Roman. Or so goes the rumor. All because of a Vince audible during the match. Roman was supposed to win, but Vince didn't like the crowd. You'd think they'd have known that going in.

Do you think when McMahon told Reigns what was going down, he found Brock and told him he wanted to kick out of a million F-5s first?

There’s also a report that Brock and Vince got in a shouting match after the match where Brock threw the belt in anger.

I don’t care either way. Both guys suck and we’re stuck with them till Vince course corrects one day.

Meltzer said that Vince changed his mind late last week and kept it very secret. The wrestlers knew but the ref was supposedly told mid match somehow. I don't know how that works, ear piece?

Either way, Brock was supposedly angry with the crowd who just shit all over the match because of Super Reigns booking. 7698769 F5 kickouts were ridiculous too and didn't help.

Of course the smart move for all invovled is a Samoa Joe win over lesnar at summerslam. It is clear brock does not like strowman. Then perhaps a heel reigns screws joe with a briefcase cash in. Vince needs to accept the majority of the fanbase is never going to see Reigns as the next Cena. I have said for a while now is Ceiling is Randy Orton and honestly I am not even sure that is the case anymore but until we get a nice heel Reigns we have no idea. Sometimes I think if good guy rocky early 1997 was around vince woiuld be trying to shoe horn him in a good guy gimmick for 4 years and that guy would have never been one of the biggest movie stars on earth today. Maybe that is what Vince thinks of as night. I do not want my guys leaving to go do big hollywood budget movies.

Reigns does have really stupid and cartoonish offense. I’m not sure if he’s even salvageable under Vince. A heel turn would be just as bad. He needs to go away and be repackaged.
