Been hearing about this non stop, and seeing it on the news this morning finally convinced me to look into it.


Anyone else try it out yet?  Turns out they have a free battle royal mode, with 100 player "Someone will win, and it's not you", or a newer 50 vs 50 (Meaning if you can just learn to survive, you might win a game.)


Only had my first test run..  Ran around a bit, visited a McDonalds, grabbed some weapons, met two guys and died.


Games like this make you realize how bad you really are...  There's a reason I only usually play Brutal Doom or a single player game.


But gonna give it a fair shot, because it does seem pretty fun.

After about a half dozen failed attempts at single battle royal, I just don't know.


Problem is, finding a damned gun before someone takes you down.  The worst is when you meet a rare polite gamer, who doesn't shoot you until you gear up, and you keep him waiting stumbling about like a chicken with his head cut off.


I dunno, I think this isn't for me.  Too old at this point, maybe.  Like grandpa learning to use a personal computer.

My teenager plays this and is addicted.  I've tried it a few times and it isn't for me.  I'm surprised they don't go full Battle Royale style and include gore.

Dumb bots we can mow down.  pvp. may we well hook up a chimp and they'd get better competition..
