I watched this because of my kid. This show seemed really flat.


The tag had a good ending, that was about it.


Pete Dunne's matches are getting stale.


Vince felt compelled to address the "is Vince watching" chants?


Even Valor couldn't save the show.  I was hoping to see Nikki Cross or the hairy guy from Sanity.


Very disapppinted.

To be fair, this is NXT UK, not NXT proper. Sanity are now on Smackdown.

I thought the show was very good. Not to the level of NXT USA (?), but probably because I don't watch NXT:UK on a weekly basis. The one disappointment for me, was Rhea Ripley losing to Toni Storm. I don't know what it is, but Toni Storm is not "it" for me. Her facial expressions are very awkward, and her offense isn't that great. Ripley is more believable. Unfortunately I think Rhea was made the first champion because of the timing between the taping of the first series of shows, versus the MYC. They wanted Toni to win the tournament (at least that was the plan after the Teagan Nox injury), but they didn't want her to be the champion and the tournament winner concurrently. That's how I see it.

I haven't seen a lot of Pete Dunne's matches, but the ones I have seen have been great. This was definitely a MOTY candidate from January.
