First "Dry Run": Schedule, Format?

Make sure your Skype ID is posted in the Skype ID thread in the General forum.

Date: Tuesday, September 7th
Time: 11 PM EST

I'll be online @ 10:30 EST. Everyone that wants to participate, please call me on Skype. How about we take calls up to 11:00 EST, when we start the podcast. I'll record it and edit it following.

Format:

Panel Members: Prime, TH, SupTool, Zandrax

Participants: I figure anyone else that wants to take part can just call in, and msg me/us on Skype. We can then go to the participants as if we're taking calls from the audience. That way, everyone on the call can at least hear the podcast while we figure everything out and get this down technically.

Introduction: I'll run down the intro for the first "episode": what the podcast is, what we're trying to do with it. Do the intro of the main panel members.

Topics: Sep 2nd Impact/Reaction, Sep 5 TNA No Surrender PPV, Sep 3 Smackdown, Sep 6 RAW. Take callers. Then, anything else. MMA? Boxing? Other sports? Other stuff period?

Any other thoughts/ideas?

Tested my mic, we're good to go here. 

After the test show, we should have something like a chatroom for those that cannot call, somehow involve them.

We should have a buy or sell segment.

I haven't watched much in the last few weeks myself but this is a test run, so we can shoot the shit if need be.

Yeah, I figured I'd just call in and be my natural, charming self.  Prime has played Tiger Woods against me on Xbox Live, so he knows about my wiley ways.

I would call in but I don't have skype and have no intention of adding it so the podcast that was born of my bitching and whining will forever lack my presence.  oh well

I'm glad I saw this thread. I haven't been able to find my mic. I take it if I just have a mic I can still use computer speakers to hear with?

To echo what I said on air, I think a simple format could be

1. Wrestling for the week (or two weeks, or month, or whatever)

2. A1 "Thread Of The Show" Where we discuss a certain interesting thread on the board.

3. Some other random thing non-wrestling oriented.
