From a great article above to a sad article about the Vols...

Bowden will be at game day.

With Joe Paterno, Bobby Bowden, Nick Saban in one place at the same time...the place being called BRYANT-Denny Stadium. The place might just explode out of sheer awesomeness.

Nice choke job by Marshall tonight - up 21-6 in the fourth quarter only to lose in OT to West Virginia.

It was worse than that JB.  Were up 21-6 with 8 minutes left in the game and the ball and fumbled on the four yard line when they were about to score.  Then they gave up drives of 96 and 98 yards and a two point conversion.  Then they missed the fg in overtime that would have put it into the second ot by about five inches.  Brutal loss.  I feel really terrible for Marshall.  Feel even worse than the Big East is going to end up with a team in a BCS game though  8)

Man I cannot stand that female announcer on ESPN. Not only is she bad it's also because she's a woman. Yes I said it. When it comes to football chicks should only be on the sidelines as cheerleaders.

I thoroughly enjoyed that WVU/Marshall game.  I kind of feel bad for Marshall, but they didn't seal the deal so that's their problem really.

It would have been irrelevant had they punched in that TD before the fumble, but on the successive drive by WVU, the Mountaineers got away with BLATANT holding in the end zone that would have resulted in 2 points for them and the ball. I'm not blaming the refs here for the loss, but if I were a Marshall fan, I might be a little incensed at the officiating.

I don't have an issue with that, but then think about all that WVU had to accomplish after that point.  Marshall had plenty of opportunity to overcome a blatant holding call in the end zone and instead failed to do anything to stop WVU.

I'm interested in some other games today obviously, but this is really 99.9% about BAMA/Penn St.  I'm very happy these two schools decided to get this started again btw.

That Oct 1989 BAMA/PSU game was one of my favorite games ever.

The talking heads are going to be unbearable from here on out.

BTW, the ACC as a conference is getting embarrassed today. Hopefully, Miami will make a big comeback because I hate tOSU.

Miami vs. Ohio State is like Dallas vs. New England for me... I just hope for injuries.

That'll be Sunday Night Football for me tomorrow, Cowboys and Skins. The equivalent for this for me is Cowboys/Raiders. I don't like either team, but the Raiders are the lesser of two evils for me. I hate Miami, but they're not going undefeated even if they win this game. Ohio State isn't either because I don't think they'll win against Iowa, but still, fuck everything OSU stands for (Sorry Holly)

Let's see...

Miami lost to Ohio State, not that bad in the grand scheme of things, but they also shot themselves in the foot a lot
Free Shoes gets ROLLED by OU - not bad to lose to OU, but to get rolled 47-10? lol
Georgia Tech loses to Kansas, a team that lost to North Dakota St. last week
Virginia Tech loses to James Madison, a FCS team.

lol ACC

I'm glad BAMA took care of business.  The ACC sucks.  VaTech effed BoiseSt in the worst possible way.  Let's table the FSU and Miami talk for now.  Every single season is the one where they are going to be "back" and every year they disappoint.

Miami was at least competitive in their road game. Free Shoes looked like they belonged in the Sun Belt the way they shit the bed in Norman.
