So it looks like we know who the guy on the cover will be.

FTR I like the name change.

Like I said on Twitter, I think WWE 2012 has a better ring to it, but I agree the name is an improvement.

I will wait until I read the reviews before I buy this year.  Too many glitches last in last year's game.

What kind of glitches?  I played a ton and don't recall anything in particular.

You can pin your opponent or be pinned after a few moves.  That was the biggest one for me.

There were some issues with the Create a Story feature, but they seemed to be fixed with the patch.

Yeah, I forgot about that.  That doesn't matter to me as I play to create a storyline with my matches.  I don't attempt pins for a good while anyway and sometimes I intentionally pull my pins so that the match will continue.

I've read that they're totally re-tooling the engine for this one.

Which makes me both hopeful and fearful, because the last game got so much RIGHT.

I don't really want to preorder it, but then again that Rock skin looks fantastic.

South Atlanta Wrestling

No gameplay footage unfortunately.

Eh, maybe I'll buy it from Gamestop, than return it in three or four days for a refund.

I have my Fire Pro and No Mercy, and I haven't played a Smackdown game yet that's half as fun..

Roster reveal starts in about 10 minutes.  Apparently two will be revealed on the website since they are no longer with WWE.

Watch it here

The roster on the official page seems to promise 14 more wrestlers at least some which will be DLC I suppose.

Chavo and Vlad are the two that were not announced at the big reveal.

Some of you may like this.  I wonder if the Nexus attire may still be in.  There were pics of him in his New Nexus gear floating around, but the THQ team was very happy that they were able to  get his new entrance in the game.  Good job out of them.

Very cool on the new CM Punk entrance. I really hope one of the alternate attires will be the one from MITB, because that will be the one I use all the time. :) It sounds like they were able to fix the crowd fx issue from last year. Also, I think everyone will need to change the "boo" to "cheer" for Punk. ;)

I always skip the entrances. Rather they'd put that energy into giving us a decent AI.

Lookin' good.  Lookin' real good.  I like that Punk kicked out after that first Attitude Adjustment.

"Improved AI.  The game is a lot harder this year.  You'll see a lot more kick-outs."  Add that with Demolition officially being in the game, and I'm pretty much sold.

I'm gonna buy my own copy this year.  Looks like the best one in years.
