Is there anyway that this function can operate without it spamming the recently updated topics section?

I wish we could check news on the page like we used to. Now it looks like it's just blogs and crap.

ProWrestling.net and the Observer are linked on the main page.  Then down the side there are things like PWBTS.  What other news sites do you want linked on the main page?

Yeah, if you want other news sites, let me know which ones. I can't add PWBTS, since they refuse to provide a RSS feed and the new front page code doesn't work with the way I kludged it together before.

PWTorch and LoP (even though they are just a C&P site) are the only two other ones I can think of that I used to access from the front page.  I go directly to LoP now though so I'm fine with the page as it is.
