Week 5 College Football

EDSBS gets it started off right with this preview of Florida and Alabama

Stanford/Oregon, Red River Shootout, Wisconsin/Michigan State, Miami/Clemson, PSU/Iowa (IT'S ON JWEAZY~!), and I guess BC/Notre Dame are the other big games this weekend.

Illinois keeping up with OSU right now, even up by 3, though it's only in the 2nd quarter.

And Harris is at it again, 2 INT's already, one of them in the end zone 3rd and goal.   Hahha, this is getting turrible, guy is just trying to throw INT's at this point.

And yet the Canes are still up by two scores. If Parker threw a good ball on that second down play that just happened instead of causing the receiver to slow up, that's 6 and they're back in the game.

I know Parker's gotta be playing hurt, but htis is a comedy how badly both these QBs are playing.

Ok, that might be the worst play, on both sides, in years.

They have no defense and the best team they've beaten is Notre Dame..They beat Umass by 5.. It took a last minute drive to beat Indiana...They're not back yet.

Got the predicted shootout in Oregon, tried to ice Stanford's kicker before the half, to no avail, Stanford up by 7 at the half.

And Florida attempted a jump pass only to be INTed.  And BAMA up on Florida by 21 at the half.

Alabama takes care of business against a game Florida squad.  So far so go for the Crimson Tide.

Oregon with an impressive 3 TD win against Stanford. Outscored the Cardinal 28-0 in the 2nd Half.

I should have known better, but I drank the Cardinal Kool-Aid.  Oregon finally rolls a legit team.  Good win for the Ducks.

You think I'd be happy about Iowa beating Penn State. Well I would be if I didn't have to hear the Iowa band playing Lady Gaga.

Yes it's music is catchy, but this is football.

Play that shit and the gayometer hits a level 10.

I think Oregon is the best team in the country, followed by Bama, followed by TCU.

Here's hoping that the Big 10 cannibalizes itself so tOSU drops precipitously in the rankings and opens a door for Oregon (should they go undefeated... which I'm not sure will happen), TCU or the Boise/Nevada winner to get into the title game for something different than fucking tOSU, Texas, OU or SEC-team-du-jour.

It'll be Nebraska and Alabama in a titanic defensive struggle with less than 400 yards of total offense combined.

LOL, really? You think a team coached by a guy who makes Andy Reid look like a clock-management genius is a great team? A team that needed to be bailed out by the other coach's stupidity to beat a team that is still recovering from being ravaged by chronic idiot Lane Kiffin? You think they're better htan Boise, Nevada, Alabama, Nebraska and the team that beat your squad, Arizona? Getthefuckouttahere.
