Tons of "experts" on Twitter saying "Heel turn?".  Nah.

2012/13 will be the year of Cena "proving himself" before the rematch in a year's time.

They had The Rock go over their biggest star? HAHAHAHAHA

Vince really is senile. If this does lead to a rematch, then it's just another year of no one caring what Cena does because they know he will face The Rock at WM anyway.

Really, LOL worthy.

whoa.  did not see that coming.

THEEEEE ROCK! :drink_mini:

love that victory came from cena acting like a douche.

Yep, pretty cool spot there.  Loved the main event.  I think the right guy won.  You don't roll the returning hero out there in his hometown to get John Cena over imho.

"Wrong guy won", "Cena's going heel".

Blah, blah.

It was a one off match where it doesn't mean shit who won, really.  Rock isn't sticking around for the next year and Cena will go back to being who he was.  The fans who actually acknowledge status and care about wins and losses weren't behind him anyway.  He'll still have the kids and the ladies.

If anything, my opinion of him is greater now after pulling off his second match of the year candidate in the past 9 months.

Right. I agree. A rematch is pointless. There was nothing screwy about the ending. It was billed as "once in a lifetime". Rock won.. the end. That is why I said Cena needs to go heel now.. Otherwise this makes no sense at all.

I'm sorry. I just don't agree with that assessment. In the buildup, Cena said this match meant everything to him.. And that if he lost, everything would be gone, his whole life. After making the statements he made, he cannot just come out and do the typical Cena "oh well no biggie" and shrug it off unless they want to seriously pull him out of character.

Still think there's going to be a Cena follow up on this.

Yup, this. Bet we get a big moment on Raw tomorrow.

MGK is an absolute douche btw.

I really enjoyed the entire show.  Even Sheamus/DB is interesting in that I want to see what's next for Daniel Bryan.  Team Johnny/Team Teddy was entertaining nonsense, Divas matches don't factor into my enjoyment of a PPV, Best in the World delivered, Kane/Orton was a decent match I thought with an odd finish, Show getting his WrestleMania moment was cool too.  Trips/Taker had great drama too.

All-in-all, a good show.

According to Meltzer, it has been the plan to have Sheamus go over DB like that for a long time, despite calls to change it.  It's possible this was the case way before DB got over like he did.  It wouldn't surprise me to see him get the belt back.

I think Cena can continue on as a face after this.  I'm not saying he will, but I really don't see the big deal with him losing to arguably the GOAT.

You can have a multi-match series without screwy endings and whatnot.  I don't see the big deal with having another one if they want to.  If they don't, I do not think it hurts Cena that much.

If I were Daniel Bryan, moreso than Sheamus cuz at least he won a world title, I would take a giant dump on Vince's desk one of these days.

Lucky, there were three more matches I was looking forward to and they all delivered.

UT/HHH was good but it had it's flaws.  For a while there it seemed more like they were putting on a play rather than having a match.  Jericho/Punk was good.  Started off a bit slow/uninteresting but they pulled me in, like I knew they would.  Rock/Cena was everything it was supposed to be, cept for the GODAWFUL entrances and I have no idea if that was the right finish because honestly I couldn't think of one.  IT's pretty dangerous to do that if Cena's gonna be the #1 face still.  But with CM Punk and I'm assuming some of the bigger names that I was hearing about before the show, there will be others to pick up the slack.

I hope that there isn't a rematch -- the Rock has proven he belongs in the HOF and doesn't need to face Cena again. Unfortunately, it sounds like Vince McMahon panic-booked again and now years of building up Cena as 'the face of the company' is pretty much gone. I imagine the crowd that were chanting "Cena Sucks" will only get louder from here on out.

I could be completely wrong and the WWE will act like "oh well, Cena lost against the Rock" and have Cena feud against Brock Lesnar or Batista (or both).

I agree, at points it seemed far too theatrical especially with Shawn's involvement.

I agree with you.  I'm surprised how many people are making a big deal about the Rock losing in his big return in his home town.  I figured that was a foregone conclusion from the time they announced the main event.  The issue is how do you go forward from here.

I should add that Shawn added a lot to the match at points as well.  The conversation between Taker and Shawn while Taker was down and Shawn was trying to stop it came across as "forced" for lack of a better term.

So, was it worth it?

Punk/Jericho sounded excellent, as expected. Rock/Cena sounded like a very good match as well, also as expected and HHH/UT did their "Shitty wrestling match/extremely epic feel" stuff again that sounds like most approved of.

The rest was filler and shit. So, happy you ordered it or was this 2 crap Wrestlemanias in a row?

Probably NOT when he was cowering in the corner like a little girl?

I thoroughly enjoyed the card.  Totally worth it.  I was there live last year so I don't judge that show as harshly as many do either.

I think people are harder on WM because they build it up forever as the end all be all, and they get all hard to please and shit.
