Dead Space on the Kindle Fire?

Isn't the Kindle fairly underpowered?  This is pretty impressive, considering.

Anyone else try DS on a tablet?  I have a Kindle Fire HD, and didn't really expect to use it for gaming, but this and Shadow Guardian HD has my attention..

So, I "tried" a few games, just to see what they're like..

Why would anyone want to play an FPS or TPS on touch based device?  O_o

It's pretty clunky compared to using a controller.

Now, RTS's and RPG's seem to work pretty well..  I just bought and paid for a game called Battleheart, an RPG that hits all the right notes and makes good use of the touch screen, and an RTS called Anaomly Warzone Earth HD that sort of reminds me of Starcraft a bit (It's billed as a reverse tower defense game, but think of the escort missions in Starcraft and you'll have the right idea)

Anyone else play games on your mobile device?

Angry Birds and that's really about it.  Unless you count my 3DS as a mobile device lol

Need for Speed:  Most Wanted is a damned fine Android racer.

But the 7 dollar price tag.  Considering the going rate of most Android games, that's like paying 80 for a console version.  O_O

Beast, I know how you feel about software piracy, and I'm not saying this is the right thing to do, but admit it:  If EA got ripped off, you wouldn't feel TOO bad about it.   :good_mini:

They are the robber baron's of the gaming industry, with their online passes and garbage..

Found this one while browsing the Amazon app store.  Had low expectations, seeing it's a freemium clone of Diablo, but it's a pleasant surprise.  The game's actually fun to play.

No dungeon crawling or story, just hacking and slashing in arenas, but it's a good time killer.

I also got something called Six Guns, which looks like a Red Dead Dedemption clone, but haven't played it yet.  Heard good things, though.

I admit nothing. And I don't think you understand my point on the issue if you make that kind of a comment. :)

Nah, I understand fine, I think..  Assuming I remember correctly, you have ip of your own, and wouldn't like someone stealing from you, and probably have moral standards (But you're also human, so I won't believe you're 100% clean :p )

I'm just saying, there's some you just can't feel sorry for, even if they told you they got robbed that day, you know?   :diablo_mini:   (Bought EA product the other day, so am slightly venting perhaps..)
