I sent the e-mail, without sounding like I just copied a template. Thanked them for speaking with me again and saying how confident I was I could do the job at a high level.

Also, that Vickie Guerrero was fat and women are only things you hit when a man isn't around. I expect to be made partner.

The 2nd meeting was with the accountant, not the boss. Seeing as how I am a Bookkeeper, private meetings with the accountant are kind of required. He said they are going to take a few days to look at everyone and let me know by the end of the week.

This was Wednesday and I didn't get a call or e-mail yet. Normally, this would be a definite no hire, but it was the accountant saying it and not the boss. Plus, they honestly didn't strike me as the type of place that wouldn't even send an e-mail to let you know they hired someone else.

When should I completely give up hope? For the job that is, I gave up hope on life a long time ago.

Give it one week before thinking it is a no go. There could be other interviews that happened after yours and they could have issues getting together to discuss who to hire and putting together a proposal.

Hmm, good call. I should probably delete my Facebook too considering it's basically a running diary of me being an asshole. I rarely go a week without mentioning the Holocaust and how they "dropped the ball".

They haven't called me back yet and I am probably going on another interview tomorrow for a company that seems like they would offer me the job on the spot if I can spell accounting. Can I call up the job and tell them this so they tel me whether they want me or not? Should I e-mail? Should I stop sounding like a desperate girl who got fucked and the guy wants nothing to do with her anymore?

Get the offer, first. Tell them you will consider it overnight and let them know the next day. Use that time to tell the other company you have an offer on the table and get a definitive response.

They called the minute before I was about to call the other job and schedule my interview. So, hooray for me.

It's my birthday on Monday too, so I know longer have to hang myself. I will wait for my first check before I buy a bag and listen to Sister Christian in my bathrobe.
