i think him and santino could work a five minute match early in the card that steals the show like how the cruisers used to do in wcw.

Pre-Daniel Bryan, I'd have said this was a horrible idea.  Now, at worst he can slide into that role of "athletic, good worker that we use to make the big stars look good".

If they keep the gimmick, I think he will get over very well. Crowds love to chant shit, as evidenced by The Rock's undeserved popularity these past 2 years, so they will love to scream "Ole!" all the time. Generico's Yakuza kick is a top rope version of the "Broski Boot", so they will just tell Ryder to stop using it.

His finisher will not be allowed and for very good reason. I have no idea how he hasn't paralyzed anyone with it yet. Maybe have him do a Senton or something.

I wonder what the excuse will be when he shows up and he fails to get over. Which is what's going to happen.

I can't see him not getting over as long as he says "Ole!" a lot.

What's the ROH schedule like? A show a month? If you add in the travel and wear and tear of WWEEEE, do you guys think he can keep up his routine? It just seems like you'd hurt yourself doing that a lot, look at how injured all the luchadore-types get in the WWWWEEEEE.

indy wrestlers do all sorts of travel from show to show, usually packed two or three deep in a car. i doubt he only wrestles in ROH.

Not to mention he won't be wrestling his style as much in the WWE, so less wear and tear inside the ring.

He wrestled here in St Louis a few weeks back for Dynamo Pro.  It was a pretty good show.

Aha, but his style is what makes him over. I guess. I don't know. I just don't have faith in the E to pull it off.

He can keep the big Yakuza kick and the Protobomb and some high flying stuff. BRAINBUSTAAAAH!!! is no more.

He will just say "Ole!" a lot and sell tons of merchandise. Then, HHH will bury him because he is a dick.

El Generico worked two dates for ROH in 2012, both against Kevin Steen. He was busy every weekend, working shows in every wrestling company in America, and in several countries including Chile and Russia.
