a thread about raw
« on: March 25, 2013, 08:17:00 PM »
one of my favorite things in wrestling is how much running out of the ring accomplishes.

punk runs out of the ring and undertaker just walks around the ring steaming, because good guys are physically incapable of leaving a ring after a heel has run away.

The floor is made of lava when a face is in the ring.

Fandango vs. Jericho is going to be the 2nd best match on the card. His jumping entrance into the ring is fantastic.

WWE should just run Philly, New York and Chicago for every RAW. All of the other crowds suck. This should be brought up on TV as well, to shame lesser cities like Green Bay and Tuscon.

yeah, the jump the ropes into the little spin is super cool. i'm happy the wwe is investing a lot of money in him, because he's got crazy heelish charisma and i want him to get some decent mic time.

A character like his needs to have some time in front of good crowds like Philly and New York who appreciate him. Not the Topeka,Kansas scum who pay money for John Cena wristbands.

Is there anything worth watching this week, or is it as horrid as last week?

The Jericho/Fandango brawl was quite something.

The rest of the show has been shit.

Confused.

Is this an attempt by WWE to underpromote Mania to the extent that they can still get a million buys and turn round to say people will buy the show regardless of what shit they put on the card?

It's being understated how good Fandango/Jericho was. The rest is shockingly dull for a Wrestlemania build. I am excited for Fandericho, but a Wrestlemania match should not be built up 2-3 weeks before the show, everything should be set in stone. I don't think they even announced it yet.

No, it's just terrible planning because Vince won't stop changing his mind. The only thing he is sold on is "Old Stars > Existing Talent".

Couldn't give two craps about Rock vs Cena.  Brock vs HHH is a foregone conclusion.  So is Taker vs Punk.  Zero intrigue.  Possibly the most uninspiring set of Mania main events in a long time.  I can't ever remember a group of main events where every winner was pretty much guaranteed.

I guess I'm interested in what happens with Jericho vs Fandago.

I also hate people pointing at the Mania sign.  And when wrestlers, who aren't playing psychotic characters, stand over their fallen opponent and stare at them like they just murdered them in cold blood.

WWE wrestlers clearly spend more time learning how to post for stills for WWE.com than how to actually put together a match.  WWE "style" sucks.

Loving Zack Ryder's new gimmick of standing in the ring after a commercial pointing at Khali and being mesmerized by his dancing.

Jericho just comes back every few months and puts over new talent. Learn from it Cena, HHH and Vince.

Cena/Rock debate is the Main Event.

It's getting to the point where we will be forced to look at TNA and say that other than it's past and TNALOL, why is this considered the inferior product?

Shut your mouth, Bryce.

the cool thing about three hour raws is that they show all my guys in the first hour or two and by the time i get burnt out and turn it off i often don't have to see much played out guys.
