Bioshock Infinite hits tomorrow.
« on: March 25, 2013, 10:18:55 PM »
Fall of Cybertron is the last game I paid full price for, and it kind of didn't feel worth the money (Even though it was great, it wasn't 60 dollars worth of great imo) but I'm tempted to get this one...

Anyone planning on picking it up?

I'm planning on it eventually.  I only JUST got Bioshock 2 and haven't finished it yet.  I've had extra spending money lately so been buying up games I've missed buying before.  One per paycheck giving me two weeks to play through them.  Some I play through no issue...some I play for a few days then stop.

Only reason I stopped with Bioshock 2 though was that I was playing through with a friend watching so only wanna play when they're over.  They haven't seen the first yet though so I kinda wanna show them that one.

Same here, I haven't finished Bioshock 2 yet. I'll likely pick up Infinite for cheap once I've finished 2. I also have Assassin's Creed: Revelations to get through, as well as play the campaign for COD: Black Ops 2.

I've still got AC2: Brotherhood and AC2: Revelations as well.  Going through Borderlands right now.  Attempting the Mad Moxxi Achievements >.<

I want to get Bioshock Infinite but I'm just so far behind so just focusing on the cheaper items.  Like Prime I'll likely get it once it gets cheaper

By the time I would get around to playing the game, it'll be $40 or $30. So I'm going to wait.

Still, I've heard people say it's as close to art as video games will get right now.

10/10 review on destructoid, I'm sold.  I'll probably finish the new GOW first, though.  Does it matter that I skipped Bioshock 2?

nope. it's a prequel that has absolutely nothing in common with the first two, outside of the fact that it takes place in some lunatic's doomsday city.

Only really matters if you're a completest.

I'm sold on this too, but I'll probably wait for a price drop.  Plus, I just now discovered the Earth Defense Force games:

Taking on hordes of giant monsters in a cheesy, B movie-ish low budget game, vs playing a AAA artistic masterpiece.  Tough decision indeed.  ^_^

I had $15 in Best Buy reward dollars, so I picked this up on PS3 for $44 (which is likely to be an Amazon deal next month).

I have a 15 dollar Visa gift card I might blow on it next month, once I get some more money.  (That's 15 dollars after their godawful activation fee of 5 dollars.  If you want to give someone a Visa gift card, just give them the cash instead.)

Put my 20 dollar gift card towards it.

My god, is this an amazing experience.

I wonder if there's any achievements for trying to play stealth?  Because those auto turrets don't make it easy.  The game flat out tells you violence can be avoided, but it's so much more satisfying flash frying everyone.   :)
