BattleFront III officially announced, with teaser. I can only assume that it's a whole new game and not the "Alternate Timeline" story the old game was supposed to have.

it's about god damned time.  BFII was amaze-balls, despite the epic lag that bogged the game down to near-unplayable levels at times

The word from Nintendo was that they weren't going to have a big presentation this year and it looks like the reason for that is, all the big games they've announced is coming out in 2014

Do not want.

Batman and Splinter Cell actually look amazing, which is in of itself a huge surprise, but I would never ever play them with that bloody ridiculous controller.

And if I'm going to use a regular controller, I'll just play them on my Xbox.

I'm not a high intensity Multi-Player FPS guy, but I think the touchscreen works well for something like Batman where you can just configure a setup without pressing buttons. Also, my understanding is that if you are playing Batman on a TV, your voice communications with Alfred and Oracle still come from the controller's speakers. That may not sound like much, but like a shaking controller I think it can really add to the game experience.
