I got it mostly for the coop, since I understood dr2 is just dr1 without Frank West.  For a game that's not really about coop, the coop experience isn't all that bad..  Compared to games like The Old Republic, where you miss out on entire cut scenes if it's not your character's story, or Fable 3 where the coop mechanics are halfassed to the point where player 2 is basically an invisible ghost to towns folks..


These promo's are a decent enough idea, but the window of opportunity to get them is kind of ridiculously short, as a friend found out on the last Crackdown "give away"..

Everyone should look at Major Nelson's blog every day or two for stuff like this. There's going to be free games all the way up to the X1 launch (I think, it might just be until the end of August).
