They are the best villains they could choose for this project considering they wanted proper villains.

I just meant I was right in my statement that they should have just gone with the Yellow Lantern's instead of Red with how that trailer had them portrayed

They're not Sinestro Corps. They hinted something horrible happened to Atrocitus at the hands of the GL's, so he's brain washed his corps into thinking the GL's are murderers. They're terrorists who think they have the best intentions. Sinestro Corps are closer to just being evil and murdering anyone.

This isn't really doing it for me.

I know it's aimed at kids, but so was Beast Wars and Clone Wars, and I'd rather watch Clone Wars than this..

To be honest, as bad as Clone Wars can be, the last few weeks of episodes were awesome.

I haven't seen this yet, but finally saw the Green Lantern movie with Ryan Reynolds.  I really enjoyed it.  I hope they have Red Lanterns as the villains in the second one.

i actually enjoyed the GL movie for what it was.  ryan renolds isn't classic comic book hal jordan, but once you put that aside, there's enough stuff going on that it's at least enjoyable as an action sci-fi super hero flick.

The sequel with what they teased with Sinestro after the credits has me excited for a second movie.

Agreed on the movie. Once you get past it being "Ryan Reynolds with a ring" it's pretty enjoyable. I would think Red Lanterns would be better fit in a third film though.

I just watched that on YouTube. My wife said, "Is there anything after the credits?" and I told her, "No, this isn't a Marvel movie."  I guess I'll have to show her the YouTube clip as well.  Pretty cool.

Excellent episode with Hal becoming a member of the Honor Guard and introducing the Man-hunters, he Anti Monitor, Guy Gardner as the new GL of earth. Wonder if Jon Stewart is going to make an appearance eventually.

Caught it by accident.
What happened to the red lantern?  I stopped watching awhile ago, so was he brought up on charges, or was he given a heroes welcome?

The computer losing her body, I'm not sure how to feel about...  The body was a major part of her character, learning to interact as a flesh and blood being among flesh and blood beings.  I'm hoping she gains another physical form, so her character development doesn't go down the toilet...

Otherwise, I thought it was a pretty strong show.. Kilowog was the MVP, between setting up Hal against Chip, and then running down that poor GL.

And Anti Monitor!  At first, I thought maybe he was the prime manhunter, who had the golden armor look and was much larger then normal manhunters, but it's definitely AM.
I am not sure about his whereabouts Doc. Looking ahead in the episode guides, no mention of him either.
