Yeah as long as it's not more frequent than Hulu.

Tonight with their celebrity involvement was a nice case of it, but point taken.

Subscriber count released: 731,000

That's approximately what they were at when they started, and this is after the international rollout.

They're offering the month of November for free to new subscribers.

They're coming across as desperate!

I really hope this thing picks up steam. It's so awesome. Seriously, if you don't have it and you're a rasslin' fan with high speed internet capabilities and ten dollars to spend every month, there is literally no excuse.

I got an email today that starting in December, my subscription is no longer a 6 month commitment and it's now month-to-month.

Agreed.

I only watch the PPV's, Countdown, NXT, and the Monday Night War's documentary and it's totally still worth the money.  I"d watch Nitro but rather watch the RAW's that aired at the same time as them as I watch them.  Relive that magic, especially as The Woman hasn't seen that yet

I know I'd have difficulty watching The Monday Night War show because I know there will be revisionist history.

Seems pretty legit to me so far.  A lot of it is looking into the influence and careers of the big name wrestlers during it

Definate WWE tilt.  To the victor goes the spoils.  However, it is about as balanced as I think you could get.  Workers pretty much calling WWF stuff at the time crap. The show is very good.

But that is worth the...9.99.  I am actually enjoying some of the ECW stuff I never had the chance to watch.

I think $10 a month is a very good deal.

Yeah history is written by the winners. I can't truly pass judgment until I watch it. I'm sure there is a lot of truth to what is said. As the saying would go: A, B, and C are true, so when D and E are added on people still believe it.

I absolutely agree that the Network is awesome for 10 bucks. I think their marketing is poor thought. Rather than mock people for spending $55 for a PPV they should be showcasing what the Network has besides PPV. Jim Ross made the analogy that it's like announcing a dinner special for 4.99 but not saying what's actually in the dish.

I also like the idea of WWE people tweeting what they're watching. I'm genuinely interested in what John Cena would watch on WWE Network. What would Dean Ambrose watch? HHH? Vince even?

Simple, cheap ways to get the word out.

That WWE Network Revisionist history thread at DVDVR is hilarious.  13 pages and no real examples of revisionist history, but a pretty common shared belief that it exists anyway.

Even if the revisionist history existed that's a pretty silly reason to pass on an interesting program IMHO.  I've enjoyed all the Monday Night War episodes and I'm as big a WCW guy as you will find.

Plus it's just cool to see the footage. I'm way behind tho.

Yesterday was the first ad I saw on the Network that wasn't WWE-related. It came in the middle of a match on NXT. I could have sworn the statement said no ads during a show? Oh well...

Also ... in the edited from the original department, I went to watch Sid break his leg on WCW Sin 2001 and it's edited out. You just see him laying on the mat after-the-fact. You get to see his ankle flop once, but the original jump is edited out.

I was watching the Raw that had the Nexus attack.  Unless I just missed it, the DB attack on Justin Roberts was edited out

This could be my brain playing tricks on me, as I did not watch the original PPV, but I don't think the initial break ever graphically appeared on the live PPV itself. I'm pretty darn sure they didn't show the compound fracture until Nitro, with a warning that it was graphic and disturbing before airing it. I hate that kind of shit but even I was too curious to not turn away. Man was it grisly. I'll never forget it. That's probably why I remember the details of when they first showed it.

I like the Watchlist and Continue Watching features that were recently added.  Had to stop watching Survivor Series 95 the other night as Goldust vs. Bam Bam Bigelow was about to start and the Continue Watching feature helps me go back to the exact spot I left off without having to fiddle around manually.

Speaking of Survivor Series 95, I wonder who it was in the office who pushed to have the Joshi girls in a Survivor Series match.  It was pretty cool to see, especially considering they never returned outside of a couple Raw appearances later in the year.

Indeed for the most part it was pretty open on Vince's part

Maybe there are some parents who don't want to use their credit cards to subscribe for their underage children.

I see Netflix and Hulu Plus cards in grocery stores now.  Get on it, WWE.

Paige vs. Nikki Bella on Main Event (Jan. 6) was better than any match on RAW.

Really solid match. Nikki Bella is a really good rassler, and obviously Paige is a beast.

Recommended!
