Remember the original plan was Punk vs Triple H. I think Trips was probably always putting someone anti-Authority over on this show.

The addition of Bryan to this main event was only ever to stop people shitting on Orton v Batista. I say they are still going with Batista all the way. Screwy finish perhaps, but Batista will leave with the belt I think.

i guess it's not the most difficult thing to produce a 21-1 graphic on the spot, but agree with KK pointing that out earlier; i noticed the same. just a weird finish with even the announcers almost seemingly not knowing the end was nigh.

I think they have both graphics ready just in case of an injury. That doesn't convince me. If it was known whatsoever beforehand, I would think they'd make a much bigger deal out of him losing. I'm saying audible on the fly and even if I'm totally wrong, this is an awesome time to be a fan. We were SURE he was winning. All of us.....
