I was planning on getting a PS4 to play this but the reviews have not been kind. I think gamespot gave it like a 6, yikes

Think I'd rather rebuy Borderlands 2 over Destiny, personally... All the hacking on consoles has kind of turned me off to competitive games, barring the odd fighter..

The game is honestly not that bad, but don't expect a lot of great loot drops. The story is slightly better than Halo IMO but still "binging on sci-fi with a bag of weed" like Halo was/could be at times. The problem with Destiny's story is they toss out a lot of concepts with Peter Dinklage's voiceovers but you never feel like you are connected to it or to the world.

The gameplay is solid and PVP is the best part of it.

If you're going to buy a PS4, just wait for it on Bloodborne.

This is kinda why I stopped playing. I got a Legendary armor piece for....a Warlock. I'm using a Hunter class. WTF?

Well that's typical MMO Logic. Raid with people and kill boss but not guaranteed to get loot for yourself. Normally though it's only one or two pieces that drop for the raid to decide who gets it so it does go to somebody who can use it. Not everyone gets a piece and it's random whether it's good for you or not.

Everything I read and see about this makes me dislike it more. It's being called an MMO when it's missing the mark and point of a lot of MMO's I feel. It seems to have bare bones content. Really to me it seems more like Borderlands but with less content and none of the engaging characters and stories.

Up to 27, frustrated that it doesn't have matchmaking for Raids and the good strikes. I don't have any PS4 friends that are playing so I'm pretty much SOL unless I go to a forum and all that crap. I'd rather just play with randoms to be honest.

Got an exotic sniper rifle that regenerates ammo, thing is killer.

Finally got a legendary drop, sweet armor...oh wait, TITAN CLASS. I'm 2 for 2 on unusable stuff.

Finished the Crota's Bane mission and got 2 legendary boots...oh wait I already have legendary boots.

This shit is killing me.

The best thing Bungie could do is implement a trading system. A user could be able to create a room/area set up that creates your own session, and then invite the trading partner so no one else can interfere/steal/whatever, and have people trade stuff.

Edit: OR, eliminate the random class for items. Legendary and exotic items have such a astronomically low chance of happening that when they do they should mean something to the character.

Had a productive snow day yesterday. Did Crota on Normal and Hard, then did VoG. Came away with Song of Ir Yut, Hawkmoon, Hunger of Crota, Timepiece, Vex, Red Death, Patience and Time, and the Fang of Ir Yut. Finished that up and got my Bad Ju Ju bounty done too

lol, that's insane. everyone was going nuts. I don't even know where to begin on leveling up these things.

I've got two Titans, one at 32 and one at 30. I just have the second to pass gear onto and let him run weekly/nightfalls and get more strange coins.

Finally completed the Witchbreaker's Raid set. House of Wolves is gonna be awesome for the new upgrade and trading abilities.

I need to purchase a SHIT TON of exotic shards this weekend so I can upgrade everything immediately. Thankfully I have something like 170 strange coins haha.

I wish a new raid was coming, but I guess we'll have to make do. VOG was so much more in-depth (mechanics, content, size) than Crota, maybe they're holding out to make the next raid that level.

Agreed. For the most part, I'm just happy to have new missions and quests coming, so I'm not running Winter's Run for the 12987634th time. I'm ok waiting for a raid.
