This show started out just OK, but it keeps getting better. And it's confirmed we're getting Flash on March 28.

I like this better than the current season of Arrow now. Ever since the Martian Manhunter reveal, this show only keeps getting better.

Best "Super" show since Lois and Clark, imo.

And possibly the first good Supergirl thing in ANYTHING ever. Movies, animated, comics have almost never done her justice.

Jeph Loeb's brief run on her I thought was really good, the one where Michael Turner did the art work. This all lead up the World's Finest story line where Darkseid controlled her.

Yep, I think I have the trade paperbacks on that. I loved Michael Turner's take on Darkseid.

EW has a clip that shows Hank disguised as Kara which is amazing. Props to the acting.

That adaption was fantastic. It still fit all the established characters. So much so that it stands on its own. The only discrepancy in the plot is that nobody tried to contact Supes.

Too bad we didn't get Supergirl yelling "BURN!" at Non, but with all the good we got I'm OK with it.

Yeah I get she doesn't want his help on a regular basis but when there are a half dozen krytonians running around seems like the time to ask for help

I missed the "burn", too.

Liked how Non kept his poker face as Supergirl was beating the crap out of him. Not even an "is that all you've got" sneer, just a bored "I don't have time for this" look.

Really establishes just how much of a threat he really is.

The martian's pretty anal about bringing in outsiders, no matter what, so that's probably on him.

Also would assume Superman's simply caught up with other crisis's, like how Barry rarely has time to bail out Ollie.

So Supergirl exists in a universe separate from Earth 1 and 2. Interesting.

That also means no Superman? He's normally an inspiration for heroes everywhere, but it looks like not in the WB verse.. (Unless every universe has a Superman, but not a Supergirl..)

Well they all exist, just not on the same Earth. Didn't the JSA and JLA at one point exist on different earths?

Legends of tomorrow also alluded to Batman and Superman.

The Bruce, Diana, Hal Easter egg on Earth 2 could have implied they're regular people on earth 2 but heroes elsewhere.

Either way, the multiverse loophole created on the Flash really allows loopholes around this mess.

Yeah, JSA existed on Earth 2, and JLA was on Earth 1. It was essentially DC's way of expaining where the golden age heroes like Jay and Alan Scott went, when the new guys took over.

They each had their own Superman, though.

I'm assuming there's only one Superman in the tv series, which is cool. I was simply making the observation that DC used to push Superman as being the "prototype" super hero who inspired an entire line of heroes, and that this happened on every Earth.

But that trends kind of changed a bit... He's still important, but it wasn't Superman who was central to DC's reboot. It was Barry Allen.

In the pre 52, Barry actually became the speed force lightning that struck himself years ago, after he had saved the entire universe.

If the Flash tv show ever ends, it'd be pretty epic if they ended it that way as they go back to the first episode full circle.

Season Finale was tonight. I chuckled at all the references to the 1984 Supergirl movie with the Omega Hedron, and Helen Slater.

It does seem like Season 2 will be The Quest To Find Jeremiah Danvers.

So what was the new Kryptonian arrival? Superboy? Eradicator? Doomsday?

Superboy would be neat, but not sure how they'd pull it off. To date, he's been a clone, so they'd have to completely reinvent him.

Guess it could work, though. Distant cousin? Or some random kid that survived? Or how about Non and/or Astras son?

Allegedly the show may not get a Season 2 due to budget reasons, and it may wind up on The CW.
