PHILADELPHIA - Two former professional wrestlers accuse the WWE of "selling violence" while ignoring concussions that they say left them with serious brain injuries.
The men, including one who performed under the name Skull Von Krush, have filed a potential class-action lawsuit in federal court in Philadelphia that echoes thousands of suits pending against the NFL. The NFL litigation, pending in the same courthouse, could yield a $1 billion settlement if a judge approves the proposed deal.
The WWE plaintiffs are 50-year-old Vito LoGrasso of Coatesville and 22-year-old Evan Singleton of Lancaster.
"Under the guise of providing entertainment, the WWE has, for decades, subjected its wrestlers to extreme physical brutality that it knew, or should have known, caused created latent conditions and long-term irreversible bodily damage, including brain damage," the lawsuit said.

Did Vito even spend considerable time in the WWE?  I honestly don't remember him even having a hiccup there.  This isn't even ECW or Paul Heyman, where he did spend considerable time, he's suing.  I don't know Bobby, I don't think this one is going to go very far if its just two guys who didn't spend any much meaningful time in the WWE.

I think Vito came over with the WCW buyout, I could be wrong. It does sound like they're suing for injuries that happened before they worked there.

But WWE owns both those companies now, including their liabilities. I don't know if they have a case but they are suing the right entity

It looks like Singleton's cup of coffee with WWE was in 2012, so I don't quite see the merit of his case. The other dude, who knows?

Hasn't Raven unsuccessfully sued WWF 7 or 8 times now? I'm surprised he hasn't tried it.

Don't like this.

Either be a wrestler or don't. Be aware of your own health issues. Don't hold a physical sport (pastime) responsible for your health shortcomings. It's your decision. Don't want to wrestle and risk concussion? Go work in another industry.
