The weird thing is they didn't give Reigns much shine prior to The Rock's appearance.  Ziggler seemed to be booked the best till he ran into the indestructible Show and Kane.

So, Mania looks like hot garbage.

Brock not giving a fuck to make Reigns look strong because it's his last match.
Sting vs. HHH is terrible because Sting is 73.
Rock OR Cena vs. Rusev will be terrible for obvious reasons.

Bryan vs. Wyatt?
Rollins vs. Ambrose?

That's an absolutely terrible card. Even if Taker comes back, who would he face? Cena? Rock? Bryan?

Still looks worth $9.99 for the crowd reactions alone.

For the people who are traveling cross country for Mania weekend, it doesn't look promising.  But, as we learned last year, they can be flexible and change plans into something great.

Well, they were flexible when Punk quit, freeing up HHH and Batista was booed so hard he had to turn heel. Their original intention was Bryan vs. Sheamus Part 3.

They have no program for Bryan right now, so he is available again if the booing gets too loud or Roman suffers a freak injury.

They've got a problem on their hands. Yeah, maybe the fuggin' casuals have a hard on for Roman Reigns, but when your big shows have the crowd pissing on him after getting a rub from THE ROCK, you know you've got a problem on your hands.

What were they thinking? Anyone could have saw that coming. It was so obvious that I'd be convinced they have a bigger story for Bryan in mind...if it weren't for the fact that they've shown time and time again that they don't write like that. Vince has a hard-on for Reigns and nothing is getting in his way.

In a perfect world we would have gotten Bryan vs. Brock with Rollins cashing in some time after that.

Personally, I don't think a Brock/D Bry match would be that great. Just some I feel in my gut tells me that they wouldn't have chemistry, and I like both guys. Now a Rollins/D Bry match would be great imho.

Backstage shenanigans were priceless.

"Hey, what are you laughing at?  stop laughing!  I said stop!"

And Reigns just looks miserable.

Rock could have just been acting cheeky, but I kind of think he was shooting.

There was no mystery who was winning the rumble when kane and big show started eliminating everyone. It was smart from the standpoint the fans would not turn on reigns as it was not him doing the eliminating but obviously the smart philly crowd saw right past what they had booked.

I do not get why the tag champs can not get spots in the rumble but sin cara titus can get spots in the rumble. The boogeyman was such a stupid surprise I would have rather seen someone in the bunny suit.

It was clear the fans only cared about 5 people in the rumble out of 30

Bryan (duh) Wyatt Ambrose Ziggler Mizdow

There was a little excitement for bubba ray and ddp.

Overall I thought that was the best triple threat match I have ever seen but the wrong person won the rumble.

Daniel Bryan getting eliminated as early as he did was a major Fuck you to the philly crowd.

I agree with the online statments that, in hindsight, they should have put the three way on last. That would have at least sent people home happy.

I disagree. If they put anything on after that Rumble it would have been booed or "DANIEL BRYAN" chanted to death. And that match did not deserve that. Cuz it was awesome.

So that was...pretty bad.  I don't think Bryan is 100% yet hence the clean quick elimination.  As feared Reigns won and like predicted the crowd shit on it.  The crowd was shitting on this the second Bryan got eliminated.  They really showed how much they cared about that Rumble after that as they put their support behind a wrestler who was guaranteed to not even be there by chanting for CM Punk lol

I did appreciate when the crowd started chanting "This is bullshit" after Ambrose was eliminated and Big Show looks at the camera and laughs/smiles.  Seemed like he was agreeing with the crowd's sentiment.

I would like to point out by the way that the Rumble is not actually over.  Curtis Axel has yet to be eliminated.  Expect him to show up during a Reigns in-ring promo and throw him over the ropes tomorrow night.

I haven't been watching for a while but just by reading results etc, it sounded as though Reigns was booked to win the Rumble about six months ago was he not?  Was this not always the plan?  For Reigns to get the big babyface push and then dethrone Lesnar to become "the guy".

A word on these types of crowds though - WWE have lost connection with their hardcore audience so badly.  There is so much resentment towards WWE from these types of crowds.  It's like they go to the show just in the hope that they can bitch and whine about something.

Company needs an enema when it comes to crowd interaction and engagement.  Doesn't help when you've got Triple H at the helm, who made a career out of not engaging with fans.

CM Punk JUST told the world he quit over "It's not a title match, but it's LIKE a main event." at WM, so they immediately put Bryan in that position. My guess is they want to run him off.

I think it's weird that they're going to let Sting wrestle after the guy he broke big with died of a heart attack after cutting a promo. I'm not even trying to be funny or make a joke, I'm serious.

I know Sting was a roid monster at some point, but I still don't think he was even half the roid monster Warrior was for his entire career, minus the stage in 1992 where they brought in that fake Warrior at WM8.

I kept laughing at the Rock.  He was really trying to be serious and the announcer(who is he?) and people off camera was really distracting him.  It was funny.

Is this the first time on tv they said Rock and Roman was family

That was an awkward interview. You could tell NO ONE wanted to do it.

I love that Vince is so stupid and he does not listen to his audience. Let him lose another 200 million dollars and he might get the fuck in line.

If it was not Bryan imo it should have been ziggler or ambrose.

Cena vs Rusev does nothing for me personally. Do any of you all really care about this? The only logic here is Rusev might be the one guy on the roster where Cena will actually get more cheers than usual.
