Previously on Throwback Thursday, we looked at Ravishing Rick Rude’s return to WCW. Rude captured the US Title from an injured Sting at Clash Of Champions.
We pickup the story shortly afterwards. Paul E Dangerously makes the official announcement that The Dangerous Alliance is here, and introduces the newest members.

The Enforcers (Arn Anderson & Larry “The Cruncher” Zbyszko), Stunning Steve Austin, and Beautiful Bobby Eaton complete the team. Dangerously proclaims that Anderson will now be teaming with Eaton. This makes a team of former tag champions. Anderson of course was a multi-time tag champion as a member of The Hrosemen, while Eaton held multiple tag titles with Stan Lane as The Midnight Express

Anderson & Eaton challenge champions Steamboat & Rhodes for the WCW tag titles.
Eventually, Anderson & Eaton captured the tag titles, however that match was not televised. The Alliance would continue to face WCW in many singles and tag matches, such as this six man tag between Rhodes, Steamboat, and Ron Simmons.
Sting did step in to combat The Alliance as well, here teaming with Steamboat to face Rude and Austin

Eventually, Sting had his showdown with World Champion Lex Luger at Superbrawl II

In the end, Sting was victorious, and avenged Luger’s attack on him. Sting was now in his second reign as WCW World Champion, the top hero in the company… and thus the top target of The Dangerous Alliance.
Next week, we’ll cover Sting rallying the troops to face The Dangerous Alliance.
