Portland, 1980 – A 26 year old Roddy Piper was well into establishing his name in the territories. Some of his biggest work early on was in Don Owen’s Pacific Northwest Wrestling in Portland. Piper had recently turned face earlier in the year, and in this match squares off against the top heel in PNW Playboy Buddy Rose.
