Shota Umino s. Yota Tsuji with a Boston Crab – The usual Young Lions opening match showcase. Umino place Tsuji in a Boston crab for several minutes. Twice Tsuji tried to make the rope break, only to get denied. He finally made it on the third try. Umino managed to then hit the Fisherman Buster for the pin

Rocky Romero & Ren Narita b. Tiger Mask IV & Yuya Uemera when Romero pinned Uemera with Sliced Bread – Ardent New Japan fans may recall that one of Rocky Romero’s previous personas was Black Tiger. Similare to Tiger Mask, multiple people have had the gimmick. Team Romero got the advantage first against Uemera, with Tiger turning the tide when he got the tag. Tiger hit a Tiger Driver, which Umera followed up with a Double Arm Suplex. Narita broke the pin, which gave Romero a chance to make a comeback and hit Sliced Bread for the win.

Jushin Thunder Liger & Ryusuke Taguchi b. El Desperado & Taka Michinoku of Suzuki-Gun when Taguchi pinned Michinoku witha Dodon – Taguchi and Desperado started the match. In a funny turn of events, Liger coached Taguchi to hit several running corner strikes on Desperado. Both Taguchi and Desperado collapsed from exhaustion. Liger then put Desperado in the surfboard. Taka broke the hold, which turned the tide. The heels got the heat on Liger until Taguchi got the hot tag. After a double down, Desperado finally made the tag to Taka. Liger and Desperado fought on the floor while Taguchi made his comeback. Taka tried a crossface, but Taguchi reversed it and got the pin with a Dodon.

Togi Makabe, Toru Yano, Tomoaki Honma, & Mikey Nicholls b. Bullet Club (Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, Bad Luck Fale, & Hikuleo) when Nicholls pinned Hikuleo with a Mikey Bomb – The heels unbelievably attacked before the bell. Yano escaped a double team and tagged Honma. The heels then took the match to the floor and gained control of the match. They got the heat on Honma. Makabe got the hot tag and took it to Tonga. Nicholls tagged in and hit Hikuleo with a Mikey Bomb to get the win.

Suzuki-Gun (Minoru Suzuki, Taichi, & Yoshinobu Kanemaru) b. NEVER Openweight Champion and ROH TV Champion Jeff Cobb, YOSHI-HASHI, & Toa Henare when Taichi submitted Henare with a Stretch Plum – Once again, the heels attacked before the bell. This time, the babyfaces were ready and fought back. The match still wound up on the floor. By the time it got back in the ring, Hashi was getting triple teamed. Cobb got the tag and squared off against Taichi. After avoicing a Tour Of The Islands, Taichi landed some kicks to gain some momentum. Henare tagged and made a brief comeback before getting triple teamed. taichi hit a superckick, followed by the Stretch Plum for the tapout.

After the match, Kanemaru spat whisley in Cobbs face, and Taichi hit a superkick for good measure.

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Dragon Lee, IWGP US Champion Juice Robinson, Hirooki Goto & Will Ospreay b. Bullet Club (Jay White, Taiji Ishimori, & Chase Owens & Gedo) when Robinson pinned Gedo with Pulp Friction – Goto wanted to start opposite White. Of course, White teased he would oblige, only to tag out to Ishimori. Naturally, ishimori wanted Lee, and Lee obliged. They fought effectively to a standstill, and did a double tag out to Ospreay & Owens. Gedo struck Ospreay from behind, and the heels capitalized byt tossing the babyfaces around on the floor. They got the heat on Ospreay and Goto until Juice got the hot tag. While the ref was distracted, Gedo tried to use brass knucks. Goto stopped it, leading to a brawl around the ring that left Juice in with Gedo. A Pulp Friction later and it was all over.

IWGP Intercontinental Champion Kota Ibushi & CHAOS (IWGP Kazuchika Okada, Tomohiro Ishii, Sho, & Yoh w/Rocky Romero) b. Los Ingobernables De Japon (Tetsuya Naito, EVIL, SANADA, BUSHI, & Shingo Takagi) when Ibushi pinned BUSHI with a Kamigoye – Ibushi and Naito began, followed by Ishii and Evil. Evil tried to put Ishii in a Sasori Gatame, but Ishii escaped. A double tag out to Takagi and Yoh respectively. They went at it, with Sho and Yoh using teamwork to get the upper hand. A brawl broke out on the floor, where the heels took over. They got the heat on Sho, leading to a hot tag to Okada. Sanada cut off Okada and used the Paradise Lock. Okada made a comeback and tagged Ibushi in. This lead to an exchange where everybody hit their big moves, and ended with Ibushi hitting the Kamigoye on Bushi for the win.
