Tiger Mask IV & & Gabriel Kidd b. Yota Tsuji & Yuya Uemera when Tiger submitted Uemera with a cross-arm breaker – As is customary with Young Lions matches, the team with the stablished star won the match.
Roppongi 3K (Sho & Yoh) & Finjuice (Juice Robinson & David Finlay) b. Suzuki-Gun (Minoru Suzuki, Taichi, El Desperado, & Manabu Nakanishi when Finlay pinned Kanemaru with a Stunner – The heels attacked before the bell (shocking, I know…) and took the match to the floor. They beat on Yoh until Juice got the hot tag. Suzuki got in Juice’s face and knocked him down. Suzuki laughed in Juice’s face, daring him to hit him. Juice hit a Left Hand of God, which decked Suzuki and allowed Juice to tag out to Finlay. Juice hit Kanemaru with another Left Hand Of God and Finlay followed up with a Sliced Bread-style Stunner to get the pinfall victory.
CHAOS (Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii, & YOSHI-HASHI) b. Togi Makabe, Tomoaki Honma, & Toa Henare when YOSHI-HASHI submitted Honma with a Butterfly Lock – CHAOS got control early on working over Honma. Then Makabe got his signature hot tag. A muti-man brawl broke out which ended with Hashi submitting Honma with a Butterfly Lock.
Manabu Nakanishi, Yuji Nagata, Satoshi Kojima, & Yoshihiro Tenzan b. Bullet Club (Jay White, Bad Luck Fale, Gedo, & Jado) when Nakanishi submitted Gedo with an Argentine Backbreaker/Torture Rack – For once, White actually started the match. It quickly went badly for him because his offense bounced off Nakanishi and lead to him getting worked over by all the babyfaces. The heels gathered up and cleared the ring. The managed to cut off Nagata and work him over to the point where even Jado and Gedo were taking cheap shots. Nakanishi got the tag and lifted Fale into the Torture Rack. That got broken up by another swarm attack by the heels. All the heels ganged up on Nakanishi. Fale hit a splash while White was the legal man, and Nakanishi still kicked out from White’s pin attempt. Nakanishi lifted Gedo into the Torture Rack. Jado tried to break it with his shinai, but Nananishi just looked at him. Another multi-man match broke out. The babyfaces held the heels at bay while Nakanishi put Gedo into the Torture Rack, to which Gedo submitted to.
Los Ingobernables De Japon (IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Champion Tetsuya Naito, IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi, & SANADA) b. CHAOS (Kazuchika Okada, Rocky Romero, & Will Ospreay) when Takahashi pinned Romero with a Time Bomb – Naito and Ospreay started off. Somehow LIJ managed to cut off Okada. Ospreay got the hot tag and cleaned house. Sanada caught Ospreay in a rolling cradle. Ospreay kicked out, only to get tied up in the Paradise Lock got the tag and hit Takahashi with the Forever Clotheslines. Takahashi rallied against Romero, which saw LIJ capitalize with triple-team moves. Romero still managed to kick-out, but eventually fell to a Time Bomb.
After the match, the LIJ members did a triple fistbump. Takahashi scooped up Naito for a Time Bomb. Naito escaped and retreated to the outside. I nice little tease for their match coming up on the Anniversary Show.
NEVER Openweight Six-Man Champions Los Ingobernables De Japon (EVIL, BUSHI, & NEVER Openweight Champion Shingo Takagi) b. Ryusuke Taguchi, Toru Yano, & Colt Cabana – Yano recently stole the tag belts like he usually does. So once again the challengers were the ones with possession od the belts. At the start of the match, all three challengers did Yano’s mannerisms in unison, then slid out of the ring to leave with the belts. At the count of 19, Taguchi finally dashed in the ring to avoid the count-out. He immediately was met with stomps by all three champions. The champions got the heat on Yano until Cabana got the tag. Cabana ran wild and almost pinned Evil with the Superman Slide, but it got broken by Bushi. Taguchi got the tag and put Bushi in the Ankle Lock. When Bushi got free, the champions all ganged up on Taguchi. In the ensuing brawl, Bushi spat mist in Taguchi’s face and rolled him up to steal the win.
Golden Ace (Hiroshi Tanahashi & Kota Ibushi) b. IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions The Guerrillas Of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) when Tanahashi pinned Tonga with a High Fly Flow to win the titles – The teams started out even as each side tried to feel out the other. Eventually, the heels managed to cut off Ibushi and work him over. Tanahashi got the hot tag and cleaned house until Jado struck from behind with the shinai stick. This allowed the champions to take the fight to the floor and gain control of the match. They beat on Tanahashi, which set up the hot tag to Ibushi. Tanahashi followed up but got hit with the Magic Killer. Rather than make the cover, GOD decided to lift Tanahashi for the Super Power Bomb. Ibushi tried to interfere but was met with a Gun Stun. Tanahashi made his comeback with several Twist And Shouts and a Slingblade. He finally landed the High Fly Flow on Tonga, only for Jado to yank the referee out of the ring before the three count. The heels waffled Tanahashi with a title belt and tried to do the same with Ibushi. However, Ibushi dodged and hit Tonga with a Kamagoye. Tanahashi followed up with a second High Fly Flow and got the pin.
After the match, Tanahashi cut a promo, stating that they will hold the titles forever. Before Tanahashi could tell the fans he loved them, Zack Sabre Jr. and Taichi of Suzuki-Gun attacked the new champions and laid them out. Sabre applied an ankle lock to Tanahashi as Taichi demanded Tanahashi to give up. The new challengers cut a promo over the pummeled new champions
