Working from home. Will be until 2021 at least. IT's fine. We're savinng money not going out and not doing things. I got a big tv and Disney plus when this all happened.

Masks are widely worn indoors, its going to be mandatory from next Saturday.


2 metre social distancing everywhere.


We had 45 infections yesterday (population 7m), and people are worried it's going to go up.

I will be amazingly surprised if Arsenal win. The way Bayern play, Arsenal will be looking for a draw and hoping to score a lucky away goal at the Allianz Arena. I think broadly speaking Arsenal are fucked. When Barcelona were ascendant, they always ended up being eliminated by them. I see no reason to doubt that changing, they're just going to get bummed by a new Best Team In World.

Chelsea I think (I THINK) are going to hit problems. Jose is pissed off with the strikers and him being pissed off is what put the dampeners on his last season with Real. City will annihilate everyone I still think. They were beaten by Chelsea when they were playing a shit player. If Fernandinho plays the rest of the season there are no weak links. Any sub is as good as any other teams first 11. I could see them winning everything they're in for this year.

terrible.  no wonder its free.  ive seen at least a dozen botches w/in 5 mins...and the colt and whoever just ignore them and re-do.  either someone told them to stick to the  script move  for move or they just dont  know how to change it up.

I just watched the opening five minutes of the match, I counted one thing I'd call possibly a botch. The rest of it is English style, like Johnny Saint or whoever. It was pretty good, I thought. It's generally a technician face versus a less skilled technician heel, so the heel tries the move a couple of times, then the face thinks of the counter and applies it. It's just like no one ever kicks out on one on WWE style.

If I were to resuscitate the console I'd do this:
Massive advertising campaign, possibly with a name change to spell out that this is not an addon for the Wii. Load of people I know don't actually get that. Shitty initial marketing from Nintendo.
Bundle Super Mario 3d with it. It's a system seller if people get their hands on it.
Make a sku without the pad. I like the pad but apparently it's too expensive.
Advertise the games and give solid release dates. Make them far away and move them forward if they're done early. But people don't know when stuff is coming out, which is annoying.
Fix the virtual console so the games I bought on my wii from a few years ago can be downloaded on this one.
Get more games on the virtual console
Suck off developers to get other games for download. Point and click adventures like Broken Sword. Things like that. Get Double Fine in, and Mojang. Just blow anyone.
Make a Zelda that's a proper Zelda. make it shiny and HD


For me the big problem it has is the network infrastructure. It's cutesy without being useful. I've got no games I can play online against anyone else, and no online friends. Granted, no one else I know has one but still.


I like the console itself, I'm just amazed Nintendo were so bad at supporting it.

I thought draxler wasn't healthy, but then I thought 'Maybe he's being a cunt and refusing to play during negotiations'. If his release is 37 mill, then playing for his team isn't hgoing to bump that up further.


Arsenal sort of ping the ball around and everyone runs after it and triest to catch it, and that tires them out. After about 60 minutes of tight defending, Sidwell just got too tired to chase Cazorla when he was through. Too much space and then boom. The same thing happened last week. If you watch Wenger's subs, they're always around 68th minute. Then you have 1-2 world class runners coming on to play against a defence that's a bit knackered after chasing the other cunts. You can't switch your back line too often, that's how Mertesacker and KOscielny got so good. So either the other manager brings on fresh guys to defend who aren't that used to each other, or they get overrun and their asshole torn open.


I thought Podolski looked good and up for it. He's got an amazing kick, but the way Arsenal play, he's totally not suited to the central role he apparenty wants.


Liverpool are just going for fourth. They've no chance of winning the league, all they want to do is 1: 4th Champions league sport 2: By beating Man United and 3: By beating Everton. Their defence looks shit.

The problem with Wenger is he has loads of faith in people. IT's also his best quality. But like. RVP was on the injured list for years, has one stellar season, then leaves for cash. Wenger has faith in Giroud (who is good) but we need someone better than him, who pings goals in like it's going out of fashion. I'm nervous he won't do that.


There was a season where United didn't beat many in the top 4 but did annihilate everyone else to win the league. That's what Arsenal have to aim for, and pray that someone trips up City when they're not expecting it.

Their record on the road was shit, it's gotten better. Pellegrini was parachuted in from La Liga, and he was pretty fucking good in La Liga. He just needed some time to sort out how things would work. I could see City winning absolutely everything.

Walcott's ACL is gone. His season is over. They'll have to buy someone, I reckon. Someone fast and agile. Walcott was good because he made other teams nervous because he was so fast that defenders would have to keep an eye on him in case he got the ball and bolted. It made it easier for the midfield.
