Memorial Day RAW
« on: May 30, 2016, 07:33:47 PM »
Can the Warriors complete the comeback against the Thunder? And if so, will this be Durant's last game as a member of the Thunder?

Oh, and John Cena returns tonight.

Their Memorial Day video was top-notch.

Company is preparing for very low ratings due to the holiday, so I don't know why they had Cena's return scheduled for tonight.

Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals as well.

This show should just be a typical opening talking segment that goes 20 minutes but stretched out to 3 hours since no one gives a shit anyways.

It's tag team night here in Green Bay.   Don't forget Big Show is back. That's ratings gold!

Only Rollins could pull off that segment.

I will not watch a PPV that has Steph vs Charlotte for the Title. Hopefully that's not where they are going.

Hopefully, that IS where they are going. Stephanie being a cunt to everyone and never getting comeuppance has gone on for so long already that she needs to be retired as a TV character. I don't think Charlotte the Heel should do it, but why demean your champion in the first place?

This was the dream main event of all those WWE vs. TNA supercards of the past 14 years.

It makes sense in that people want to see The Club together, but AJ was so over as a face coming out of that Reigns feud I'm still not sold on it.

Wow, no pop at all for Dolph.  WWE did put him in hell.  I was afraid Becky Lynch was going heel.

Oh, and Dylan Hales pointed this out.  The two faces ahead of AJ are hated by a segment of the audience.  AJ was next in line and is pretty much universally loved by all segments of the fanbase.

Meltzer talked about this the other day.  Injuries were a problem for Ziggler, but basically he said it was one of those deals where WWE said Dolph wasn't a main event.  The crowd thought he was until WWE finally convinced them they were wrong.

AJ was a huge babyface, don't see why they would turn him. Also, not looking forward to John Cena beating "The Club" all by himself either. I'm sure the matches will be awesome, but I fear AJ is falling into the Sami Zayn/Cesaro/Ambrose "You're awesome and getting the best reactions, so we can have you lose a lot and you'll still be okay" club.

They blew it with Dolph so many times that I don't think he could ever come back without a character redesign. Still, his contract was up recently and he resigned, so he can't complain about it.

Corbin and Ziggler as a tag team comprised of a couple of scumbags would rule.

Also my son threw up the Too Sweet in our living room when they showed The Club graphic for Smackdown.
