Fortunately for him, he just got a concussion and may not remember it.

That Phil Jones penalty was literally the worst I think I've ever seen at professional level.

Charlie Adams two years ago against Cardiff.  Ball still has not landed.

Congrats to Liverpool on being the BPL Champions an congrats to Arsene Wanger for making that insulting $40,000,001 transfer offer for Suarez that insured he would stay there and score 987609587 goals this season. Twat.

ManCity can only muster a draw against Sunderland.  Only Chelsea has real hope of catching Liverpool.

I hate Suarez, but Mourinho is the devil. Chelsea cannot win. I would almost want Man U to win instead.

Jose Mourinho loses his first home BPL game in 78 games. Absolutely incredible.

If Liverpool wins tomorrow, they have a 5 point lead with 3 games left, one of them being head to head against Chelsea at Liverpool.

Seems like the only race left is Arsenal vs. Everton and whatever relegation battles there are.

And City scores in the 4th minute.  Title race is heating up.

Fucking Liverpool.

Fine, as long as Chelsea don't win it. If City wins today, they are 3 points behind with a game in hand. If they win out, they will win the title based on goal differential. Lliverpool outplayed Chelsea all day but couldn't score. You see the stats and think they won 4-0.

I don't know anything about soccer managing. Is he a good manager or is he just always with teams loaded with talent and money?

I think he's amazing.  I guess he is like the Larry Brown of football.  He would be a Coach K like icon, if only he wasn't so insane that he needs to leave a club after a few years.

Sports needs more villains:

"On 17 August 2011, in the final of the 2011 Supercopa de EspaƱa, Mourinho was seen gouging the eye of Barcelona's assistant coach Tito Vilanova during a brawl at the end of the game. After the game Mourinho did not comment on the incident except to claim that he did not know who "Pito" Vilanova was, with Pito being Spanish slang for penis."

I can appreciate his insanity more if Wenger would shut him up every now and then.

Suarez is a good villain, being the most talented and the biggest whiner. He even bites people.

With the Champions league a pipedream for Everton and a spot in the Europa league already clinched, I have read that some of the Everton supporters want the team to lay down for City to help cost Liverpool the league title.

Edit:  Just realized ManU still could edge out Everton for a spot in Europe, so Everton does still have something to play for.

If Man City wins next week, they are the champions.

Insane season.

Liverpool/Crystal Palace sounds absolutely incredible.  Wish it was played during the weekend, so I could have watched in astonishment live.

Liverpool only has a good defense when they are too busy scoring 7 goals to let the other team score, but 3 goals in 9 minutes? Ouch. Watching Suarez cry on the pitch after the game was beautiful.

It honestly doesn't change that much. They still needed Man City to lose in order to win the title. This just eliminates a draw from Man City as a way for them to win.

Chelsea eliminated from the title chase.

Yaya Toure is an incredible footballer.  His goal today was breathtaking.

75 yard run against 5 defenders and they never had a chance.

For all of the times I gave Man City shit for running up the score in stoppage time, it's really what won them the title. Due to Liverpool choking, City will win outright, but if the Reds hung onto that lead, they would've lost the league on goal differential.

City wins because they spent like trophy wives, that's essentially it.

Good season, but obviously very bitter for me because of Arsenal's injuries. That aside, it was an exciting race with 4 legitimate contenders and Man United sucked shit, so hard to complain too much.

Chelsea have all but signed Diego Costa, which is fucking ridiculous. Guess he had his mind made up if he didn't want to wait until all league play was over before jumping ship.

Chelsea seems like they will join Man City and PSG next year in regards to sanctions due to FFP.

ManU looking excellent in their preseason run through the States.  Is it premature to say they are back?

They look good, but they are really the only ones trying. Their 7-0 win over the Galaxy was actually embarrassing for THEM because what type of loser runs up the score during preseason? Arsenal fielded like 3 starters against the Red Bulls. Plus, to rely on Van Persie to be healthy a full season is foolish.

If they win the league this year, it's because they pulled a Liverpool and were rested from no other competitions. Speaking of which, Liverpool will finish in 6th place.

Shared this on Twitter and FB, but it's too good to not share on here:  Columbus Crew beats LA Galaxy 4-1.  Here's how the GK celebrated post-game.

There really needs to be stricter financial rules in soccer.

Chelsea just bought Loic Remy to be their backup to their backup striker. Due to injury, he was going to start for Arsenal for a few months. Arsenal, is also a title contender this season and has loads of cash.

So, Chelsea buys him just to spite Arsenal. That is ridiculous. Remy isn't amazing, but you can't stack away guys who scored 14 goals in the league as your backup's backup just to spite someone. When top teams can financially blow away other top teams, you have a problem.

Man U is also at $150 Million spending and they are still trying for another $60 Million. 3 teams are the Yankees and 16 of the last 17 are the Marlins.
