This sucks. Birmingham are losing to Fulham, which keeps them tied in points with, but just ahead of, 18th place Blackpool. Anything but a win next week against Tottenham and they could go down. Blackpool plays Man Utd, who really have no reason to keep trying after securing first place.

I hate this sport.

LA beat Sporting KC last night 4-1. LA scored all 5 goals.

West Ham has been relegated.

Should be a fascinating day next Sunday with 5 teams vying to stay out of the dreaded 18th and 19th spots. Be amazing if Wolves/Blackburn play to a draw and Birmingham, Blackpool and Wigan all win.

Spurs vs Birmingham City has been a fairly laid back game. Neither team is acting like they're feeling any urgency, though City has managed to hold off all the corners(and there have been a lot of them) and blocked a couple of dangerous shots. Spurs might not be feeling pressure to win with Villa winning against Liverpool.
