I'll be sticking with the current gen for the next couple of years at least. Experience has taught that the best time to be a console owner is at the beginning of the "next" gen. Current systems are still supported and all of the games you want are the cheapest they've ever been.
I'll buy a 720 and I'll probably get a PS4 as well. Not for a while though.
That conference felt very much like a "we have to reveal something, anything, to get in before Microsoft" btw... Besides a controller with an input method that will be forgotten about 12 months into its lifespan, what did they really show or tell us about the machine? Nothing that hadn't already been speculated about.
