Rock probably reminds these dweebs of someone who used to pick on them or beat them up in school.  chock full of psychological issues.

Even onscreen he wasn't exactly the epitome decency to women. He's stunned Keibler, Trish, and Lita if memory serves. Has Rock ever hit a woman?

I think Stephanie ate a Rock Bottom and a People's Elbow once.

The JA I knew was like an anti handout, anti government libertarian..  At some point he started getting up in arms about drone attacks and foreign policy.

When did he go militant feminist?  Was it his wife's influence?

It seemed to coincide with when he was no longer Turbo Virgin

To me it seemed to coincide with when he started getting chummy with Stroud. That may just be coincidence I suppose.

Don't go there as far as talking about his wife. I mean, you CAN and I can't tell you what the fuck you can and can't right because I'm just a dumb cocksucker at the end of the day, but if you could refrain from including spouses and family, please do. I just get uneasy with personal stuff on forums.

I don't know what caused JA to change his views about life, and it doesn't matter that he did. People change their mind about stuff all the time. I used to fuckin' hate cops as a whole and think they were assholes, but now I'm a pro cop motherfucker (even though I realize that some of them are major assholes). So you can change your mind. It's not the end of the world.

I think JA left in a huff over that politics forum post about unreported rapes where everyone "teamed up on him" and by "teamed up on him" I mean "didn't bite on his bullshit post so he got pissed off and left".

I like JA. I really do. He's a good guy, I would throw out that he's a much better guy than I am but that's not exactly a high hurdle to clear... I like JA, but his wymn's justice stuff drives me nuts.

My god, Fatty, you are one whipped redneck.  :p

jk.  Only reason I brought up his significant other, is because I heard she was a feminist.  Of course, JA could have been one himself before they even hooked up.

Me personally, I never had a beef with him. I've criticized how he's handled himself (he does come across as condescending and trolling sometimes, even if he doesn't mean to). But in the end we're both huge dorks so I think we played nice at the end.

He annoyed the living shit out of me and if I told him water was wet, he'd argue that there's no such thing as "wet" and that it's all just a matter of perception.

But I wish he'd come back. People can drive you crazy and you can still like them. I'm the most annoying person on Earth and you cocksuckers love me like I love cake.

I suppose he conveniently ignored Chris Jericho doing the same exact thing.

If you have access to the Politics forum here is the old thread we were discussing in case you missed it or want to relive the magic.

As for Jericho himself.

Remember this awesome moment?

http://www.tmz.com/2009/11/05/chris-jericho-wee-racial-slurs-wrestling-statement/

The "hilarious" Chris Jericho.  He's had his funny moments, but I'm not sure I've ever seen a funny guy be consistently less funny as him.

The time he re-debuted with the Lite Brite jacket and didn't say a word for 5 minutes while basking in the cheers of the fans is by far one of the top 5 funniest things I've ever seen in rasslin'.

Oh better than that. Somehow they weren't the same thing, and you were stupid for thinking they were.

That's one of the best threads ever. I honestly think it's what drove him away.

Beer_Baron being the one who called him out makes it better, because BB is not exactly a staunch conservative who was out to attack the whole thing as a leftist bunch of nonsense. BB is a reasonable dude who leans left, and he was like "hold on a sec".
