Booby “The Brain” Heenan

The Wrestling World has lost another legend. Raymond Louis Heenan, better known as Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, passed away earlier today after a long battle with health issues. No cause of death has been stated at this time, but Pro Wrestling Sheets reports that he was with his family at the time of his passing.

Heenan’s career in pro wrestling began in the 1960’s where he was a regular in-ring performer. However, he will be best remembered as one of, if not THE best, manager in the history of the industry. He had successful runs as a manager in the World Wrestling Association, The American Wrestling Association, and of course The World Wrestling Federation.

Heenan closed out his career as a color commentator for World Championship Wrestling, and was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2004

We here at A1-Wrestling.com send our deepest condolences to The Heenan Family.
