WWWF, 1977 – Having lost the WWWF Championship to Graham earlier that year, “The Living Legend” Bruno Sammartino was out for revenge. The site for this match is Philadelphia’s Spectrum on September 17th. Graham was still the champion and, as clearly shown by the crowd reaction, despised by the fans. This is the type of heat that is unheard of in today’s wrestling programming.
