New WWE Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan was interviewed by Title Match Wrestling. In the brief interview, he entertained the idea of wrestling New Japan’s Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura. Needless to say, Bryan was up for the challenge.
Of course the possibility of it happening is unlikely due to WWE’s nature of not having interpromotional matches. However Nakamura did respond on Twitter.

Daniel Bryan had previously said that he views Nakamura as one of the greatest wrestlers in the world. For those unfamiliar with Nakamura’s work. he is one of the top stars in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). He holds the IWGP Intercontinental Championship, which is viewed as being near the level of the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. He has appeared on AXS TV’s New Japan TV Show, so if you get the channel, I highly recommend checking it out.
