Anyone else see part one of the Attack on Titan movie?
I really enjoyed it, Effects were pretty good and can't wait until next week to see part 2.
I found it funny as I was leaving I overheard someone say that they didn't think it was going to be as bloody as it was. LOL I guess they never saw the anime. Big humanoid monsters eating people. Yep, there would be no blood in that LOL

This is local but Cubs related
The Cards have requested not to have any weekend games with the Cubs starting next season. Seems like there is always fights and other stuff going on down at Busch when the Cubs are in town and I guess games during the week do not pull as many Cubs fans down here.
Oh and Cubs suck. We will beat them as normal

geezer? well, I'm 50(oh god I hate saying that) Currently live in a city just next to the famous Ferguson Missouri. Grew up just next to Cape Girardeau, MO, hometown of Limbaugh. Note: my grandfather used his dad as his lawyer. I remember riding with him over to their office when I was young.
Work in IT, in current job for 20 years. Married for 21 years with no kids.
Big sci fi geek. Doctor Who and Star Wars are my weaknesses.
I go to quite a bit of local indys. We have so many in the area there is a show almost every weekend, there are times that there is a show on Fri, Sat and Sunday.

Just wondering if you attend indy shows in your area and how are they doing.
Here(St Louis) there has almost been a blast of indy shows. There is one almost every weekend and last Sat there was 3 local shows to choose from. There are 5 regular local indys that are very good along with about 3 start ups that don't do great but could improve.
I wonder about over saturation, but most all seem to pull a good crowd(that is for a small indy show).

As far as titles, I wish the would change the IC and US titles to a Raw and Smackdown title. The world title would cross shows but the IC/US would be show specific.
They have done the brand split. Not sure that would work again, but it would be nice if they would showcase more since they have the 5 hours to work with.

The SMART decision is actually to put up shows that are exclusive to the Network. It would be new content not making people who ordered the PPV feel like they wasted there money anymore than they likely already feel like. That and it's great advertisement for your network since all you ever do is talk about the price and not the content. Show an episode of Countdown, Rivalries, NXT, Monday Night Warrior, or any other number of exclusives
I think replays of Monday Night War would have been a great idea

« on: January 26, 2015, 11:56:34 AM »I was getting some loading issues on my Roku. So I eventually decided, in the first match, to restart the show and be about 4 minutes behind. Didn't have any other problems after that.
So, get a Roku?
Ever since the major issues I had on the Roku at network startup, I have not had really any problems. I had one backskip(buffer) issue last night, but wasn't a big deal.
I've just had good luck with the network on Roku.

Rock could have just been acting cheeky, but I kind of think he was shooting.
I kept laughing at the Rock. He was really trying to be serious and the announcer(who is he?) and people off camera was really distracting him. It was funny.
Is this the first time on tv they said Rock and Roman was family

I got it to work on Roku via Playon. I know a lot of people bitch about Playon but I find it pretty good.
There are buffering issues but for this showing I had only two very small buffering issues.
I missed the first half hour because I forgot 7:30 meant 6:30 for me.
