WWE has issued a statement on Dean Ambrose, who has reportedly given notice that he will be leaving the company at the end of his current contract.
“Dean Ambrose (Jonathan Good) will not be renewing his contract with WWE when it expires in April. We are grateful and appreciative of all that Dean has given to WWE and our fans. We wish him well and hope that one day Dean will return to WWE.”
Ambrose was attacked by former WWE Womens Champion Nia Jax on yesterday’s edition of Monday Night Raw. How much he will be on TV during the road to WrestleMania has yet to be seen.
Presumably Ambrose (formerly Jon Moxley) would be a hot free agent that could sign with All Elite Wrestling, but only time will tell what his next move will be.
